what is needed in a comp to play silkroad on high settings

I'm thinking of buying a comp with;

AMD Phenom X4 9150e quad-core
2GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD3200

reckon that'd run smoothly? or badly? =]

That should run quite well. It's almost the same system that I have. My system is AMD Phenom X4 quad-core (not sure about the 9150e part). 2GB ram, and nVidia graphics instead of ATI.

I'm running SRO on that system in Gentoo Linux and so far, it's working really well in 1280x1024 resolution, high graphics, detailed shadows, NO water reflection. I haven't played on that system in busy areas such as fortress wars or guild wars or anything, but I'm sure it would be pretty good there too.

Sro is such an old game..You really don't need much to run this at max. Any high end SINGLE core PC with 1gb ram and a medium-low graphics card will run it maxed. My old 3.06ghz single core with an EVGA 8600gt ran it maxed with 60+ frames (shadows being an exception, as well as heavily populated areas but that's SRO coding problem). A dual core PC with any half assed graphics card and 2gb ram is more or less over-kill for this game..

Actually the graphics are pretty intense for a game released in 2005. I have no problem running the game on high with everything maxed out. My rig is as follows: i7 920, Asus p6t, 3gb ddr3 ram, ATI HD4850.
