If the can analyze how many accounts run on the one IP and the pattern in activity couldn't they just check the IP's names of characters and the active times, seeing quite clearly if they have gold bot traits, documenting that IP and during each banning just ban every new account made that uses that IP. Just automate it, people are happy seeing lots of banned characters and it's pretty easy for JM. Even the companies might have to change ISP and that can be costly.
So in my opinion, the IP limit isn't true.

Well, my stallers got banned about 1 hour before I posted. Seems like JM actually bans players, but the wrong ones. ;o
