My entire point exactly, you can search the entire agreement.
(Like I have 4-5 times) and not find anywhere that says it is illegal to bot or multiclient. This forum might not allow it, but I think joymax purposely left that information out. Honestly I think if they didnt want botters, then they would state literally in the user agreement, that botting was prohibited.

Well ... they started a War against Bots ... that says that they dont want bots ...
But yeah, you're right, they should've put that in user agreement.

I honestly wouldn't call it the war against bots. I would call it the struggle to keep all the legits playing the game. They had so many complaints to ban the bots, that they were risking losing alot of their players. Trust me, they dont want to ban the bots.
1) More gold bots = more premiums sold. Alot of people don't buy them for the stats, but for the login.
2) They are too lazy and don't care enough to keep banning bots that just remake themselves every week. It really isn't working.
If the spent every hour that they spent banning bots, trying to improve their security system, I'm sure they could find some way to block and prevent botting altogether. The only problem is that they are too money hungry to bother making it a legitimate game. They would rather have a f'ed up game and make money.

Who wouldnt? They are not playing the game...
Altho I respect Joymax, for trying ... they are atleast DOING something ...
They are doing great job by running this game in first place ... Its free, isnt it?

100% agree, and I have no problem with the game or the way people choose to play it. Stating the facts, thats all.

Yeah I agree ... I already got used to all bots, they aint bothering me at all ...
They'd bother me if I came when there werent them, but since I came when they were ruling already ... I dont like changes
I got used to them, and server traffic ... and tbh game wouldnt be that good if there isnt server traffic
Game is great in my opinion ... I dont know why so much complains.

Well technically they shouldn't allow it as stated here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=86072.
However maybe people are more lenient towards ECSRO as the GM's are 100% against bots and they are trying to make it as much of a legit server as possible, even though they sell silk, sp and pimped weapons for real cash, which again breaks joymax's TOC.
Ummm ECSRO doesnt have to follow JM's TOS, they are a private server. SRF allows posts about ECSRO because they only sell their OWN gold and sp and weaps, etc. The first private server that was available, MHTC, was released by a gold selling company. They sold gold for both their own server and iSRO on the same site. So it wasnt welcome here on SRF.
ahh now I understand
So somehow getting server files from err dont ask me from where and making your own server without having anything to do with the real JM is perfectly fine with Joymax and their TOSIm so glad its allowed to steal software
Start a thread about it and we'll discuss but this isnt the one.

Multi client and stuff like that is a 3rd party program or what
ever you call it. That's what bots are but basically by using
multi client your breaking the rules of silkroad. It's not the
worst thing you can do but still against the rules.

Come to think of it no one HAVE TO open 2 accounts AT THE SAME TIME anyway .
If you need plvl ask a friend .
If you need to stall do it when you are not grinding it's not like players grind 24/7 .
If you need to transfer items use guild storage .
But of course the easier solution would be opening another account with w/e method is used .
anyway back on topic IMO no difference
1 player occupying 2 slots .
(& now every player who has 2 computer at his house will start flaming at me)

Replying to OP, it's quite simple: Multiclient is a software/program/hack that modifies the client in order to run more clients. In par with the restrictions and rules on SRF and SRO site, this method is illegal.
How multiclient and 2+ computers are the same thing:
- Running more than 1 client - Well duh
How multiclient and 2+ computers are not the same thing:
- Muliticent = hack/program = 2+ clients per computer = illegal
- 2+ computers = 1 client per computer = legal
My wife and I personally have 4 computers (2 lappys and 2 rigs) , here come the flames, and yes I do stall with them and they are lvl 20's. I also plvl with my 4 computers. Oh and btw, I'm moving to a new gaming right (5th one on it's way).
I have encountered many who get easily angered by this method, but it's legal. It's not modifying any clients. 1 legit client to 1 pc(rig)/lappy. Nuff said.
AFAIK, this isn't against SRF rules, and if it is, then it's not on par with SRO site ToS. You might as well ban me now then. Lol.
