Even a lvl 90 glaiver +9 glaive in a 84-88 armor set with snowshield died to me, warrior cleric, +5 two hander. pwn.

You only fight in bless skin or shield.
He can tank you in his snow what if he grabbed shield and run rounds arround you.
Then it would just be a pot fight.
He is a turk so he wont do it but what if he would?

I've got a good set very nice stats and +5+6 and +7s/s

that being said, 1v1 no lv 90 full str glaive has beaten me, on the other hand I take them out

bowmen have not been trouble for me at all, unless and get a couple crits in a row they can't kill me, and I have been able to beat them just as easy as a glavier, except for the annoying kb at times

warrior cleric, it goes back in forth, I can beat them and they can beat me if they, and I've made last plenty of times til casting snow again

Bladers I can't beat them, ones I have fought use vigors, on the other hand they haven't beaten me yet either, but I'm sure one will someday cause they get down to about 40% of my life

I can kill hybrid or full int spears, depends on how much vigoring they do, I've been killed by them as well

All in all, I have a strong character, I know how to play, I'm hating that people are using vigors like water, but whatever

so far the strongest builds I've seen are and in no particular order, full str blader, warrior cleric, and s/s nuker

Odd, I never lost to a non-SUN glaive at the 80 cap with my hybrid KD nuker (I didn't have any SUN either). Heck, I've even had jobwars in which I fought 2 of them at the same time (ironwall shield lasted long enough to kill 1 of them).

on rome there is a guy name 3_hilal with 9th deg sun +7 bow and he get his butt beaten in pvp by other builds. This fool cant pvp at all, dont know how to use his skills. so its not only about the weap or the gear, player skills are important. from all the builds i have fought against, hybrid s/s are the hardest to kill. wa/cleric second hardest.

full str bow dominate in unique hunt
s/s full int or hybrid dominate in pvp
wiz dominate in training
cleric dominate in healing and buffing

so there each build is unique, so it depends what you like to do with that buld. no single build can dominate over others.

They get killed by bladers 50\50... against bowers... meh.... i dont rly watch those pot wars. Warriors can kill them without a worry of dieing. I only see glaviers do good against themselves, rogues, wizards and warrior\clerics... depending on if they get eternal slumber in or not. Its a cookie cutter build that requires almost no experience... what can you expect. I dont know anyone that wants a challenge that decides to be a glavier

this is exactly why most of the famous glaviers of sparta have been switching their builds, few have gone to bowers just because they want the high crits, but the smart ones have switched to being blader, which bladers are really fricking strong this cap, they arent annoying anymore since they can actually kill other people or get close to doing it. and when they are using vigors in 1v1 you can forget about killing them especially with a consistent KD user

glaives are better than half the chinese builds. Warrior cleric with tactic still wins usually. final teir +5 armor is as good phys wise as sun garms, so a glaiver in armor that still dies to me every time is kinda sad.

If it's a kill or be killed situation, start off heavy to set them, then follow up with high dps moves to maintain what you've set. Finally GSM/GSSC is for finishing or survival, it's good. A shield is a Chinese' best friend against a warrior. You get KDed? Use a shield, he screams? Use a shield. He takes out his shield and sword? Well, by then it means he has no "defense left" and I've got him: it'll be like fighting an s/s (for the warrior) and at that point it's GG. People don't put enough thought into how to PvP, it may not be difficult because you're just pressing 123space12... etc, but it never hurts to think of plans against every build. ATM, I've compiled a list of strs and weaknesses for my build. I think I'll make a guide.

Have you guys noticed glaivers have been leveling ice >_> Cape PvP heroes.

2h warrior cleric??? there no way difficult. last 45 seconds vs them and they drop, and lasting isnt that hard if you know when to use what move. a glavier is very underestimated by a lot of you, and a glavier can beat any build properly geared and used by the right person. There not spam players like most of you.

im also pro.. i got me a nice +7 glavie.. +4\5 85-88 set ( ready for me) .. just to say i can kill 2H.. if they are warlock.. ptsh no point of pvping them.. i cant even leave a scratch on them. i can kill bows EASLY seriously bows can what? crt .. -.- big woop.. i can survive 4 crts IN A ROW from a bow.. that has a +7 they have nice crts but they are slow by the time they executed there next skill i already potted up by then .. bladers sorry to say they are weak.. you may see then do a nice 10k crt but.. GLAVIES HAVE 30K HP >_> without spec items n suits. the only real challenge is int's i gotta say from 80cap ( 69 skills ) they stepped up by a crap load.. now they are the ones doing 20k+ nukes.. that really hurts xD

My main, before Europe, was a glaiver. My Build atm isn't a Glaive, I'm not assuming anything. Been playing for 2 years now, I think I know enough about glaivers (or any build for that matter) to make a guide. I'm not leveling my awesome build atm because School has started and School is higher than SRO on my important things list. Besides, I was describing my build.

10-13k is the average dmg from a cap nuker with +7 sword on my "Protector set.

Many post show how unreliable a forum is when it comes to this kind of topics. "what build owns,best,ect."

I really wish there was someway or event to allow pvp. with any server so that way those that said they never lost a pvp. to a glavier loose for the 1st time....all the talk about I owned ect. will come to an end.

my point, there are a lot of players that don't pvp well or use any sort of tactic and a few who are actually good/skill at using there build...may you are one of those few skillful players that claim to own all those noobs, and have yet to find someone who actually has some tactics for pvping other then pressing a # on the keyboard or clicking on a skill.

i havnt seen a blader beat by a euro 1 on 1 part from wizzie and xbow with cleric sub but im sure every1 has killed a blader once.

btw glaviers were ALWAYS good and ALWAYS will be. they were NEVER great and NEVER will be.

they are a nice all around build.standard build.cheap build (gold and sp)

Warrior without 1h isn't Warrior ... what I've seen from your experience , you never fought one ... since they last 90 seconds ... (Skin(45) + Bless(45))

Warrior can tank s/s full int with 1h/shield , Shield Trash -> Sprint Assault -> *switch to 2h* turn rising -> 1h/shield, repeat. Without problem.

add to this the damage return passive which can get the glavier killed if he hits hard (and if he doesnt hit hard then he's dead anyway!) , and the double critting dare devils which DO happen quite ALOT with a 2H with crit 13+ due to the critical increasing passive.
and for ppl saying ints own warriors.. meh
just tank the shit out of the int with 1H (using bless spell /mana skin/ healing cyle if needed) till his snow shield runs out.. the rest is too easy
