ok on threads like this sure you have a point. but ive seen just discussion threads get locked and they weren't date specific.

i dont get how ppl can accept JM banning goldbots+spam bots which always return...the day they actually ban a large amount of "PLAYER" botters is the day a real ban list will appear

Yeah, it's not that hard to get your hands on a cheap second computer. In my house, we actually have 5 computers in total. My desktop, my wife's desktop and laptop, and 2 old computers downstairs (currently torn apart). Just follow a university to the junk yard when they are throwing out their old computers to upgrade a lab.
I haven't used the spare computers for stalling, but I suppose I could if I wanted to. I'd have to create a separate account too, which I never saw a point in doing so.

I created metalxdragon, like 2 years ago.. (my first acc BTW) I use to play with some characters in it, but I changed to other accounts (not banned BTW). Like 2 months ago I created a rouge X-bower called: XSirThalasX (I asume JM thought that was a botter by the name, Idk) in Pluto, then I quited that char. I started other in the same sever, but with other account. (I played both accounts on the same computer) 2 days ago, I started to play that rouge, I PASSED a WHOLE NIGHT lvling it!... also I was playing it before the inspection (EVEN played CTF many times in the last 2 days, HOW A BOTTER WOULD PLAY CTF EVENT?!!!). well... now u know the rest... why XSirThalasX got banned?... who knows.. I never bought silk, I never botted! You can see him banned on the list...

Why do people keep saying this? I've been playing SRO, on two different servers, for over 2 years. I have never purchased any silk, and I have never been banned. Buying silk doesn't make you immune to being banned, and not buying silk doesn't mean you'll be banned either. Even a silk-buying account (according to TOS) could be banned after about a year of inactivity.

i didnt go thru all the posts in topic but this is what says of inactivity in TOS
① An account with pre-level 10 characters that has not logged into the game for a period of 6 months, and an account that is not using premium service ② An account that has not been logged in to the game for the past 1 year, and an account that is not using premium service
the "and an account that is not using premium service" makes me wonder though lol

Sounds to me like they're saying if you buy premium, they won't ban you for inactivity. However, if you don't have an active premium ticket, and you become inactive, then they could ban you.
Doesn't mean they will ban you, but they could if you're an inactive non-premium user. I would hope that if you're a premium user, you wouldn't let your account go inactive and waste all that premium time anyway, but at least you wouldn't get a ban in that case.

@ Bop, the not using premium service had me wondering too xD.
OT: There was this player in my union that would keep buying stuff low and selling it high for profit, he then created a business(I guess) called Babe3 gold and was selling gold globaling about it and such, I just looked at the ban list and Babe3_Gold was banned. xD I wonder if that was the character he put all his gold on. Makes me wonder if JM is really watching over us
