LOL
Joymax runs the bot company! Selling bot time is a huge part of their income. They make a fortune off selling time to players and gold companies! Why vote for something that is already in place?

Spam bots? How do you think they get away with that? Joymax gets some sort of kick back. Like it's hard to identify a gold companies spam bot! The same ones have been in place forever! Get rid of them, and you get rid of the majority of gold bots. People would not know where to go to buy gold! Sure gold would still be bought, but it would make it MORE DIFFICULT. Making things difficult for gold companies and botters, is something Joymax doesn't do. Unless, the price of gold is dropping too low, lol.

Free? People who live for free live in cardboard boxes for a reason!

If we want to put a dent in the problem, then we need to start a program to disrupt the gold bots. Get a 24/7 program together on each server. We get people to donate 1hour to going to the field and dropping 1 gold/ 2 seconds. People then switch off. We stop the bots dead in their tracks! If they can't grind, they can't get gold, and they have no reason to exist! One day my buddy and I did that, and we held about 50 in our area alone, captive, for about 3 hours! Try it on the bunwangs, mujigi, or penons. *They make great protection for low lvl characters during plvling. 8)

If we all pulled together and did this with a consistent effort, then they may go away.

Im, back lol.

For more abuse. Alot of votes alot of views, mostly not very entertaining ones I understand too.
The result may come to a suprise to a few myself also. I honestly thought more people would be in favour of it :P .. LOL

Ok questions to answer.

1. Are legits the cause of the problem, I addressed this quite briefly in the post because if I were to haven gone in dept about it. I would still be typing. Lets just say its the "Fonzi" factor. Hey I and many other admire you guys for gettinge all the way to lvl 80 the way to lvl 80, and some do so much that they would do "anything" to join you ;) ....

2. NO I dont believe the servers would be full. I still believe as we have shown there are a few who would support such a system. Im sure all who would support, would not bot. Yet they like the idea of a sustainable and possible solution. I think in those few votes we would find a few to pay for iBots.

3. Re. The JM pt and how much money they make off the botters at present. I do believe that bots would be expensive tools. Possibly even an Hourly session could be bought, as some one mentioned. I had put the origional price in my head at somewhere around $100 but a hourly or timed session like a PT card would be cheaper than this although obviously more expensive than a PT, ALOT MORE.

4. Idiot who pointed out that they wouldnt get rid of the Item Mall, Read again.

5. For those who had a good flame, I hope you feel much better. Go grind if you can login. I can't.

6. I do believe you are right, it is MAD to play this game and not be part of its essential process, grind. It is what it is built around and is how some great communties such as this and many other have been created.

Thank you for some great replies only got to read them now. Throwing in insults into otherwise contributive posts does make me wonder how you came up with such stuff being so ignorant.
I do apologise to those who I have insulted so highly for trying to promote a useful discussion. I am only trying to invoke thought between the community if you cannot stand to even read the word bot, better off avoiding all my posts in future.

Here's the problem with botters: it's not that they want to be level 80, they just want to be better than you. So they cheat to get there. Remember how proud the first botters were to cap? How they strutted around acting all pro? Most of them have quit now, because someone with even less moral compunction botted a char to 80 and had 30 clients running to get gold and gear so that he could own the guys that had already hit 80.

The botters lament: "80 is boring...waiting for the 90 cap"

I can't tell you how many PM's I get from botters asking to PvP or calling me noob when I global something anti-bot. They seriously think that I'm going to feel bad about that! :banghead: A level 64 botter left me a whole page of PM's calling me a noob because I am level 35. That's just classic botter mentality.

If I understand psychology correctly, when the private servers get released, SRO will be quiet for a while. All the botters will flock to the servers because they can be the best of the best of the best. The funny thing is...so is everyone else on the server. And because they don't know how to actually play their characters, they're going to get owned by the few who do. Then they'll come back to the official SRO and start their bots up again and try and bully lower level legits. And the legits will still say "who the f cares about you, you couldn't even cut it on a private server LMAO."

And so it goes...

They would make more $ posing as a 3rd party company making the bot or simply selling the bot cards.

If they did implement it the game would be pointless to play and yeah..

U forgot the CCFers?

thats something different...fact is that if you could pass silk items to someone else there would be more silk items selling...ccf's are glitch in the system and there are other mechanisms to deal with them.

The issue of whether to allow silk items to be sold in game to other people... It may be a stupid question, but why not? If Person A buys a gold ticket and sells it to Person B, Joymax still gets 100% of the money, right? Wouldn't allowing in-game silk item trading increase the demand for silk? It would also solve some peoples' problems of not being able to buy silk for themselves.

But then again, there are arguments against it as well. Real silk buyers would no longer have an "advantage" because non-silk buyers could have the same benefits without using real money. Who knows :P But why would Joymax get "less" money?

EDIT: Barotix is right, I never thought about what would happen if silk items were passed around and got ccfed... Hehe
