Gosh...
nvdllblahbalh looks like a Nvidia process.
Browsing through srf and listening to friends who got DC every some minutes, it really starts to look like its an incompatibility between Nvidia videocards and Sro.

I got it too, with waves. Got DC every some minutes, sometimes even before i see my char. Got a Nvidia card.
Friend of mine, same problem, Nvidia card.
Other friend, no Nvidia, no DC

:? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :x

No, I use a nvidia on my main and it's flawless, not as much DCs as my dad's laptop.

For any processor:
  • Open task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
  • Find sro_client.exe
  • Right click sro_client.exe
  • Set the priority to a higher setting than normal (the higher the better)

For dual core or dual processor setups:
  • Open task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
  • Find sro_client.exe
  • Right click sro_client.exe
  • Click "Set Affinity..."
  • Set it to only one core/processor

These aren't exactly solutions per say, but they will help somewhat.

I've been running StartAffinity to make SRO stick to a single processor since I first started in Aug 2007. I don't think this is the same problem. :?

O wellz, for the people that haven't done this it doesn't hurt at least even if it doesn't solve the problem.

I'll agree with that, SRO doesn't seem to like dual-cores...for that matter, the client doesn't like much of anything, will crash on a whim on a freshly-imaged PC.
If faith is a crutch, I'm not limping anymore.
