I used to watch live tv.

wat program is that?

Its Windows media center /w tv tuner connected to my cable. I put under options "Remain always on top" or something like that.
I've heard TVuplayer (internet tv..good channels) Can also have this always on top option.

Good luck this helped me survive a few weeks.
