Yep who got banned? Joymax talks a lot.

Besides they don't even permanently ban for chargeback, sounds like more joymax BS.

They do...

Look at the screenshot ping_lo submitted, this is about THEPOWERLEVEL buying Silk for YOU... so you trust them, and when their Paypal or whatever gets limited or they do a chargeback on purpose your account will be gone.

So Joymax just say that lately some users have been banned due to these chargebacks, it is not like they investigated on who used TPL to buy gold or anything... those people just got banned by the normal chargeback-ban-routine...

That's why they also won't post a list, it's not like the normal bot lists or something where they actually collect people for a ban.

Thing is, Joymax won't unban the account until the amount charged back is repaid. If the buyers couldnt purchase silk for themselves to begin with, then they won't be able to pay Joymax to recover their accounts.

Well I know 2 people who got banned for chargeback. It is not a permanent ban like Joymax is stating.

1 of them was unbanned a few weeks later without resolving the issue. In other words they never paid joymax, all they did was send a complaint about the ban. Joymax never responded back, one day they just unbanned the account.

2nd person did get the payment issue resolved, and a few weeks later the account was usable again.

So as far as I can tell they really don't do permanent bans as long as you speak up about it.

And Sure their won't be a ban list, I understand that, but do you know anyone who had this happen to? Sounds to me like scare tactics more then anything else.

Kind of like their "war on bots" PR campaign.

Here is another example of PR phrase "Access of Evil".

I love catchy phrases.

Recently, Some of our users who have purchased items through powerlevel.com has been blocked permanently due to chargeback.

To prevent the loss of accounts, we strongly recommend that you do not purchase Silk through the use of accounts or credit cards in other sites that you DO NOT OWN.

In addition, please do not have someone else purchase Silk in your place, and NEVER reveal your account login information to anyone else.

As a result, users are blocked permanently due to chargeback from other sites.
