I have started in oct or nov 2005 don't remeber, it was the 1st beta test. i know many people still play on xian, with them char created in the beta MrBonobo for exemple

I played during the time when there is only xian and ages til this damn game closed up(Due to some reason finished testing). Then i moved on to JSRO but quit due to dun understand the language.

Only noobs used pots in cape battles. Then auto pot came out and ruined that.

Yup. we did. I only got to 25 in the alpha cause I was playing Ferentus at the same time. The end of Alpha was fun tho, nothing but caping for three days at S Gate Jangan. lol

October 2005 was when I first played, but I got bored with mangyangs killing me so I quit for a few weeks, then started in November again. :love:

Oh yeah I started at the 2nd closed beta in babel if i remember correctly.. took me like 2 weeks to get to lvl13 back then lmao... makes me laugh now :roll:

rofl good luck with that.... it wasnt until OPEN beta that Troy was opened... that was AFTER 2nd closed beta...

Babel came much later..

ok man... as i said "if i remember correctly" maybe i dont. All i know is that it was a long time ago. It may have been open 2 but im not sure.

December 2005 - lost my low level character in one of the "week rollback" close to Christmas. Then did not start again until Babel opened (3 days after opening).

Still going strong, same character, not yet 70 :-)

I am not the fastest leveller in the world.

silkroad was awesome pre-gold ticket. gold ticket killed jobbing/guilds. i remember before GT everyone would help if a guild member needed help with a hunter/thief. after GT, no one was willing to lose GT minets to help a guildie.

silkroad was also awesome pre-alchemy. alchemy crushed the economy. a drop with str or int became useless. normal players lose there chance to raise above the bots/gold buyers.

nightbloom always gives me a bad time for hanging on to the past. but its not my fault the present sucks. if jobbing sucks, the community sucks, the economy sucks, whats left?

the char i play on, PepsiOne, i made during the x-mas event. I deleated my old char cuz she was hybrid and made the new char due to the 2x exp bonus.

I started when Athens was new..around march of 06 I guess. Cap was 70, no item mall, no tab/stone, no wolf. Level 70's were like Gods cuz there was no botting. It was "fun" back then...not a race to cap like it is now.

item mall was 2 weeks before cap went to 70. i remember having a monkey at ishades and yetis.

I started exactly December 1st 2005. aahh...cant believe it, coming to 2 years already :shock:

Few ppl still remain who remember some of the crazy happenings in those early days. the christmas 2week rollback(i dropped from 26 to 22...only), the 3week+ server shutdown for maintenance. lol, all the forums were flooded with withdrawal symptoms. and the days when you couldnt type '?'. lol that was truly a pain in the ass.

I will never forget my reaction at lvl15 when i saw my first tiger giant. i was like WTF IS THAT HUGE THING?! lol at the innocence. yeah, thats what i miss most about the old times, the innocence. Today all that innocence is lost. Everywhere is just anger, suspicion, deceit. sad...really sad...
