The blacksmith is where I always NPC my drops. He sells them for over twice of what he pays me for them. Since I make just enough gold from NPCing drops to buy pots, that means if he sells everything for twice what he pays me then he is getting at least as much money from me as the pot lady. Additionally, since I'm a poor bastard I'm also locked into buying my blade and shield from him, at double price. Did I mention he probably got those from another player earlier, for half of what he sold them to me for?
