When you get to 40+, if you want to continue trading, then deal with it. I'd personally trade until 40 then go Hunter, or Thief if I had the money to fund it.

have you jobbed at lvl 4x or higher?

the problem is it's luck. if you don't see a thief/hunter then sweet :) if you do, then there's a 90% chance that the gap is huge. So lvl wins every time, no chance to fight your way out, just death from high lvls.

Of course I have... but that's life. There's always people who will destroy you, you just have to hope that you can avoid them.

There's not only one route for trading either.

No there's like two ... lol choke points?!?!?!

btw popping was the most fun i have had as a trader, there was risk, it was avoidable, it was tense. Getting 1 shot by lvl 80s is just boring.

all you people say its time for the theif to shine, but have you forgotten about hunters completly? or the fact that traders now make way more money. I have nothing against half of the theives (trading and hunting would be no fun with out them) but damn why such a an additude its a game don't be a jerk. And i almost never 1 star trade, i did the other day, simply because i was flat out broke and needed money so i put everything i had into the trade and even on camel it dind't equal 2 star, that and i had no help.

1 star trading is lame, the profit isn't even worth the time
2 lol over theiving is equally as lame, thats why so many people resorted to 1 stars is becuase it was a gaurantee you would die if you didn't,
3 if the numbers were in better balance, there wouldn't be a problem, but when people change jobs after they loose trading protection just kinda throws it out of balance,

trading isn't so bad if you have a scout, ride a ahead of you, now choke holds are where it can get lame, in china you have the 2 ferries, once you pick a road and go down it you're pretty much on your way to that ferry, but in europe you have only 1 port to go thru, but at least you have 2 destinations to run to, of course i never see a theif down there for some reason, all the trading goes on in china it seams

Hunting doesnt exactly mean literally "hunting thieves"

your job is to cover the trader's ass and hope to kill a few theives along the way and pick up job exp
