at the end he found out that name means "hot pants" in german, or at least that's what he said. Is there any german who can confirm this? lol
I think 'hossenfeffer' means 'Hosen Pfeffer', but no one says something like this
Eh... It's 'Panty Pepper' in english.
My characters names come from 'Magic Cards'

The account was given to me.
All this time i thought the original owner of the account named him out of complete randomness, but just a few minuets ago i searched DeathShadow on google and found that he was in fact a boss on World Of Warcraft.
Has anyone else discovered something about their character name after they created it?
well most people have an idea in mind when they make a character so probably not all that much. you on the other hand was given the character so figuring out the significance of name was meaningful

wow, there are quite a few other agent420's out there. i found posts on tech forums, a self-proclaimed mario cart master, and a dj's old site with some pimp remixes and trax...oh wait, that was my old site...so if any of you are from the midwest, florida or ny and are old enough to remember the mid 90's rave scene, you may have seen my wasted ass on the decks breakin down some crazy jungle, hip-hop, and breaks.

i asked one of the german folk I know ingame, no dice it isnt "hot pants" in German. The closest German word in that is pfeffer which is pepper.

Guy I know was given a character named Lich_king. Google it and see. You two may of hade a mutual friend.
As to my chars name well it is not that clever really. When playing games on line it is good to have low ping. So I thought I would try to "engrish" it up and go for lo_ping. But that was taken. Little more "engrishing" and I arrived at ping_lo. Which was not taken.
Since then though I have been told that not only did the name sound "chinesey" but it actually had some workable meanings in cantonese and mandarin chinese. In one ping I am told means bottle. In the other I am told it translates to something like flat land/road.
