during korea's industrialization drive in the 60's and 70's, the military dictator park jung hee basically created the entire korean ramen industry (modeled after the japanese ramen industry) because there had to be a way to feed people on a regular basis for very little money. the reasoning was to keep living expenses low in order to reduce upward wage pressure. ramen is the most bang-for-the-buck in terms of calories provided for cost (it's also really unhealthy-- try eating ramen three times a day and watch your six pack turn into a keg).
alot of popular korean food in fact is wartime food that has been converted to cuisine-- for example "boodae chigae" (literally "military base soup") originated from native koreans getting leftovers/handouts (or digging through trash) from u.s. military bases (so some of the main ingredients of the soup is like hotdogs/vienna sausages and cheese).

Again, people trying to + their post count.
If you do not understand, do not post, its that simple. I posted a wall of fuggin' text so people would get it, and if you STILL DO NOT GET IT, you do not need to contribute.
That is what forums are for, CONTRIBUTION. Not post count numbers.

Well. I seem to find a little contradiction between what the forum is about, and what this thread is for. Sure theres a load of people who've got nothing better to do that up their post count and flame others. But some people are genuinely believing that the "Put butter on bread" that they've done is an achievement. Just because they've done something you already did ages ago doesn't mean it should be ignored. They're just newer/lower levelled and don't know what's good.
I remember when I first solod a tiger giant in China I was quite proud. Looking back on it now, I can basically 1 hit them so I find it senseless how people thought it was good.
Just my 2 cents.

That was so random i think im gonna go eat a bag of cheetos
yeah it takes skill to survive the general discussion forum
But seriously i do agree with you, the only problem is that most just don`t care or like attention so complaining about it does totally nothing since the only thing they will do is well add a stupid comment here and create new topic.
after a while you will just have a list of users each time you see their topic the only thing you can do is not open them since they are useless spamming topics
