Rofl, that would be so funny if you were made to write it. And what you wrote would influence what would happen.

I think this is one of the coolest kinds of quests in sro lol, it gives everyone a chance to get the kill of a unique, it's definatly better then Hunt 1000 w/e or find 500 w/e. The Chinese quests defintly need updating too! lol.

I'm workin on the cerberus one atm, I dno't care if i'm 73 and its 24, its freakin cool lol, and to be able to just go check it out alone and stuff, that something yuo can barely ever get in sro anymore, if at all.

1. because when i do the second stab i can't reach hotkey 1 and the stab at the same time so i press middle mouse

2. i am 4:1 hybrid s/s (83% naked magic balance)

did u dropped fire for cold? do u think its worth?, i got almost same build 34 str points added, need help dunno what do :S

P.S. grats for kill i gonna do euro quest too sooner or later xD

i did drop fire (to 60) but not for ice it was to temporary save sp because i dont bot and have a life and want to get 80 before the cap raises lol but at lvl 80

i will have 80 bicheon
80light
60 fire
60 ice

or

80 bicheon
80 fire
80 light
50 ice

and there is no difference in dmg between fire and light imbue as far as i can see and if there is any its like 50 dmg so yes i say its worth it

That or it had one of those things where you choose 1 of 3 things to say and that would influence what would happen.

I think it's pretty interesting that joymax actually put a "cut scene" into a quest. Gratz on the kill and from what i heard from a guildmate the quest give about 20 of some special scroll.

this is like why are you going to euro territories if you are above lvl 40 ?O.o

Oh yes...those will be more valuable than anything else...I don't know how many times I've been caught with back to back giant spawns...after zerking on the first one.

I thought this was gonna be a quick quest, but with all the running around and being unsure of what to do at some points, it actually took me a little while, lol.

The reward was definetly worth it though, 20 freakin zerk scrolls! How cool is that!

It was an intense battle...but a little 1 sided :P

Hmm EllisD may I ask in total how long this took you? From starting the chain quest till receiving reward?

Cause those zerk scrolls seem mighty tempting ..... Imagine a war where you can zerk 20 times -.-

In total it took me probably an 1 hr - 1hr 15mins. There is a lot of running from the constantopal side to the samarkand side and without knowing what to do at some points, took a bit to figure out.

Actually, the zerk scrolls arent the only thing you get. You also get 5 repair hammer scrolls.

They look just like a trigger scroll would in your inventory.

Showing people what the battle is like...

I am not bitching because he defeated a Unique,i only applauded it. But he should know that when a level 70 hunts a level 30 Unique the challenge offered will be at a minimum.

Besides a level 30 player has a different fighting pattern when engaging a Unique his own level, then a level 70 player who in all fairness is almost impossible to kill by a monster of that level.

So the experience and strategy offered differs with such an extent that it's useless.

None of us are ''Bitching'' but merely stating the fact that it's a totally un-important battle.

And the screens provided did not show that much detail into Ivy's fighting pattern or moves.

What you have shown here is just another: D2A versus Manyang fight.

And no..i am not down talking his victory or defeat of this Unique, but i also don't see the reason to roll out the red carpet.

1211 on the other hand defeated Cerberus who's still 2/3 levels above him. That atleast deserves a red carpet treatment.

But i guess i can say good job for finding the Unique for us and the fact that you're willing to share the screens.

I for one have never seen her in action. ^^

I think this quest is the only way to see her atm. She dosnt actually spawn yet. Not quite sure why though, shes only lvl 30 afterall. I wonder when they will put her in game.

Meh alot of waling tho -.-

lol, yea, figuring this out was a pain.

You get the traps from the guy by the Inn in constantople, but before he gives them to you, you need to do a "good charm bad charm" quest like the taoist one.

I saw a walkthru but couldnt find it...lemme try and dig it up

1. Delivery quest:

The Ivy Quest begins in Sarmakand with the HunterGuild. From there must take a horse and ride to Constantinopel and deliver the letter to Ratchel, who stands south of the Stable deliver at the MilitaryCamp.

2. Ivy 1
Recommended level: 25

Now you Talk to the SAME NPC where you delivered the Quest before. here
You need 20 Vine stacks. You get these from killing Soldiers at Haran's Tower. You need approximately 45 Small Knifes that are droped Only by the soldiers. To turn these into vines you need to run to The Pond Ruins Because it only works disjointing here. You can disjoint these like you did with the Charms at the Taoist Quest (right-click on the Items). If you do not get 20 Vines Stalker, must you go back and kill more soldiers for more Small Knifes.(Traps).

Go to this guy and do this quest to gain 5 traps as reward

3. Ivy 1
Recommended level: 30

Now With the traps you got from the helper quest, find the Closier informants that are infront of the Amphietheater. Right click a trap so it's layed on the ground (red kind of net thing) you need to lure an Informant into the trap, easiest way is to PUNCH it (without weapon) then run over your trap so it follows you. When you have one Closier informant imprisoned, run to Constantinopel within 30 minutes. Running, not riding on horse or transport because: On the way Closier Guardians spawn. You must kill 15. They spawn approximately every 60 seconds. After the 15 are killed, run into the city and deliver the Quest.

4. Ivy 2
- at least. Lv.35
- EXP/Item Party Share with at least 2 Members in party (Leader and a friend)
- Party Leader must have Quest Ivy 2

Talk with that NPC south of the Stables to get Ivy 2. You get 5 horns when you accept. Now, you use these horns @ Harans Tower, Cleopatra gate and Amphietheater. There you must activate at certain places (usually at the entrances, shown on SS's where you must stand) a horn and the monster that spawns, you have to kill. Each monster will drop for each Partymember in the proximity an Item, however only the Leader needs the Item. When the leader has all Items of the monsters of the 3 places(3 stones) then you kill Punishers at the Amphitheater untill it drops Punisher Blood

When you get a Punnisher's Blood, right click it and all 3 stones will become a Key. With this Key you travel to Evil Fortress into the center of the 'Den'. When you stand here, all other party memebrs must be away from you so their faces are 100% blue on the party bar. You now right click the key and Captain Ivy will spawn after short time in your proximity. Within 20min must you it kill. After kill you get a Hair. As soon as you kill her and get item, teleport , go to Constantinopel and deliver the Quest.

With successful Quest you get 20 Scrolls, which load your Berserk immediately when it's empty
