what the hell is party mobs, somthin` like thief mobs ? that spawn

I am glad to see that people are starting to actually play this game as a ROLE playing multi-player game rather then a solo grind single person game.

Hearing the party mobs ravage the high lvl bots is great news.

I haven't been accused of kill sharing yet, and people actually call for help. Now this is teamwork.

unless you're in a clan or have friends, theres no chance to find a "correct" party.

so **** it. I'm just solo grinding, and joining in exp chinese parties. And plus, when you solo a party mob, tons of xp!!!!!

I have an extremly active all euro guild on Olympus and everyone is within somewhat of the same lvl range so we allways lvl in a party and it's not a problem

That is your choice(to grind solo) and no one is stopping you. Just realize that others will party(autoshare) and that is thier choice, so respect that as we respect you.

I'd love to get into an 8 man party with my Chinese blader, but I usually only play for about an hour at a time. By the time I got into the party and we all got started out in the field, It probably wouldn't be long before I had to leave (also the occasional AFKing I do in a harmony circle during a grind).

So it looks like I'll have to stick with solo grinding for the most part

Its not hard to find a party, but its hard to find a well organized one, most people in low lvls (i'm 12) is doing some quest, so not all pple in the party need to hunt same mob, etc.

I'm a Rogue, and the last party i was, become full of wizards, me, a warrior/rogue and 6 wizards, all fine until we got to lvl 12 mobs, first one was easy, but then he start to spawn in couples, wen first giant spawn, half the party died, and a couple of minutes after, i'm the last standing man. Then 2 party mobs & a giant, spawned rigth on my head :shock:

and owned my poor rogue as. :twisted:

Anyway, was funny and let me say, the lacking of ks bots was sweet.

there should be a patch so that solo grinding doesnt give XP with Euro chars.

Sure Im a warrior and I can tank and grind alone but a party NEEDS tankers.

and its SO much fun to grind in a party ^____________________^

Yes a party NEEDS tankers to keep the monsters' attention away from the damage dealers.

Now what if Joymax updated all mobs to simply go after the players who are hurting it the most. The nuker is doing more damage than the tanker, so ignore the tanker and kill that int nuker first. :twisted:

I guess that's what ressers are for though.

I don't know, maybe they did. I've never grinded in a party. I assumed that the monsters would attack the last person that hit it. Because then the tanker can just keep hitting all the mobs in the area to draw their attention away from the nukers, even though the nukers are doing more damage.

If the monsters concentrate on attacking the nukers, then what's the point of having a tanker in the party? He won't be able to draw mobs away from the nukers. Again, I've never really been in that situation.

Yah, same here.

Chinese shared exp party, 4 of us at lvl 45ish; time flies when you're having fun; lost count of how many times we ran out of pots.

But, some things I still don't get. We invite people nearby to join us, they declined the invite, yet they still hunt 'our' party mobs! What's up with that?

Also about Chinese char team strategy... there is none! Just kill kill kill. Maybe one, avoid using KD to annoy your teammates. Also, autoshare items is also a good idea so that the spear nuker doesn't always get all the gold, you know what i mean... :roll:

Just another thing to point out; I had a sp ticket; normally the autoshare party stops the ticket but not anymore; I still get the doubled shared sp, while the party get their usual amount.

Let them.

They cannot possibly outdamage your party, so they will never get the kill. Sure, they will get some xp, but no drops, no gold, nothing. In the mean time they're increasing your kill numbers, and thus your drops.

They mostly seem to go after the people that do the most damage to them. The offensive skills of warriors, however, have taunt value added to them, so they can 'outaggro' anyone else in their level range.

Don't know yet how the attacks against buffers gets into the equation. (Total mp/hp healing equals total damage in the eyes of an aggro'ed enemy within a certain area?)

Im 70 but is it good to join a lvl 80 and grind on mages or genrals? o.O.

Its easy to find good parties if u spend a little bit of time in city and talk to people, i guess bots made people silent. But, for now everyone will probably answer to you party request. Just ask nicely =)

bots wont come back (I hope) they cant kill partymobs... or maybe they come with bot parties :shock:

Even if you are not in party whit some , the party mobs give you good xp ...and BTW : is easy to kill them .

I tried making a euro char but it's horrible. You can walk anywhere and all you see are warriors and warlocks soloing or in very small groups. I hope it gets better as people start getting higher lvl though.

If you find a balanced party with people knowing what they are doing and what they chose their build for leveling is HEAVEN in Euro.

I had 2 random parties which were worth it today, and in both the cleric was outstanding because he just knew what to do and when to do it. Since I had to tank for the whole group (Dual Axe STR Warrior), I had to rely on his spells when tanking 3+ party mobs ^.^

It has been a long time I had really fun in this game, and now I even have it with total strangers ... this is what makes a MMO a RPG imo.

Myself (Lv 72 Blader) and a Union friend (Lv 70 s/s nuker) were alone in 2/8 exp party at the big Nachal Room.

We both died on a Giant PT Nachal....and the hundreds of Nachals behind us.
