Sure, and then your level 45 thief attacking a level 40 trader will get blasted to bits by his level 80 hunter? I think this trading change will work out for the better. Why should traders be safe while thiefs and hunters have never been safe? Do you think it's safe to go hunting or thieving at low levels especially now that you cannot put your jobsuit on outside of town? Then why should traders get a special position?

I like the new system of theifs and hunters and traders, althought i was happy to be finally made it to LVL4 Trader.

Anyway i like the idea of put on suits in town, cause lately i saw lot's of people playing as thiefs and Hunters on the same time. Meaning they just go around in the map without wearing anything, they spot a trader, they put on the Thief suit, then they kill the trader, another thief spot the trades he took it.. First thief return town get the hunter and go kill the other thief, then he return town to be a thief to get his first spotted trade ... then ... WTF .. .. the new system is mush mush better ...

You want to be thieving ... go as a thief leave town aas a thief and fight ... You want to be a trader or Hunter ...

well i like the new system, except some rules like not changing the suits while on transport inside town ??? what the point of diable this ? also not able to change suits while in party ?? ..

humm .. but i like the new system.. need some more improvements .. but its cool

I stated traders mainly because they have the most to lose, ie loot. but it would be nice for the hunters and thieves to have a lvl restriction right? but then again if a lvl 40 brings a lvl 80 hunter then its fine for a lvl 80 thief to kill them.

if you at lvl 80 spot a lvl 40 I know most everyone is gonna hit that shit even if it is only 60k(??) loot in his baby horse.

I'm top 10 on Odin server lvl56 pure str glaive.

SECOND OF ALL

They had this update already in KSRO CSRO JSRO..

Why do they purposely commit the same freaking mistake over and over???

OMG!!!!!!! Now doing anything is just plain annoying. To put job suit you need to be in a party, you cant take it out outside of town or put it on outside of town. You can't even take off your suit without getting Disconnected!!!!!

I'm getting more and more frustated at joymax's imcompetence and inability to make things work for once!

PS. The people who do trade runs are usually lvl20-29 because their noobs. I take pleasure in 1* popping them with no mercy. Now JoymaXXX
has taken the fun out of SRO. Chinese pretty much get facked over while euro chars take full advantage of Exp share parties.

I have no problem with thieving in the new job system so far. I'll agree it's a bit annoying having to be in town in order to put on a thief suit, but part of the reason they have you teleport if you put on a job item is to help hide your alias. Aliases are meant to be hidden. You wouldn't want someone to see you running around, know your guild and everything, and then throw on a suit and rob them. Otherwise what's the point in an alias? Pop back to town, throw on suit, and come out to rob the trader.

As for disconnecting when you teleport, I don't have that problem. I'm sorry that you do, but don't blame Joymax for it. It's obviously not their fault you disconnect since others like myself don't have that problem.

Why pop anyway? It's much more fun, rewarding, and effective, to thief in a group. Get a group of friends, party up, suit up, and go tackle some multi stars. Besides, 1 stars above lvl 40 don't have protection anyway.

Yeah I don't particularly like it either when people switch jobs just to take advantage of people, like thieves who jump the ferry just to turn hunter on another thief, then jump ferry again to rob their loot (but then again a thief is a thief....)

At first I didn't like the idea of forcing you back to town if you want to suit up, but the only thing that does is make solo thieving harder because if you try to leave the city as a thief alone, you'll likely get 1-hit by a high lvl hunter (assuming you're not a high lvl thief). But go to town, suit up, and join a party with a bunch of other thieves, and you'll have a better shot getting out of town. Better to thief in groups anyway.

The only people who multi * are protected by hunters with shiny sowhatevers. Even lvl 70+ only do 1* unless they're with a hunter that can own anything they see. Is especially hard with the Flllly's being able to take on every hunter in the server at once. Sure we can attack lvl 40 trades now, but I've had fun thieving since 20, I got to lvl 2 thief by 25. With this new alias stuff I have to run all the way back to town and tele then run all the way back even if I see loot laying on the ground from a dead trade, much less a trader I can hit. I also loose the ability to change out of thief suit when I've got hunters around just dieing to waste thieves because they hardly ever see them anymore. Europe is great and all, but what's the point of the alias and all the trouble it's causing?

I personally hate the new jobbing system, mainly because this client slow-loading lag fest.

I'll post a story while Anti-Virus runs....

I go to help a Mini-Union Trade run from Hotan>Consta...after grinding in caves.

I get to Hotan (Laggy) and I equip my new Hunter Card.

I'm auto-teleported back to Hotan and i'm now a Hunter (Highly Laggy)

I buy some potions and repair and leave Hotan following 2 4-Star Traders with 3 other Hunters supporting.

First thief spawn comes and I basically lagged through the entire thing, this continues the entire time.

Mid Karakoram, I disconnect.

Quickly restart comp and load up SRO client (as most of you know, the client takes roughly 5 minutes to load up). 10 minutes later (after picking character it usually freezes also) I'm respawned in Karakoram and the Traders are already leaving Talkamakan into SandaEurow/e...

I take 2 steps and i'm hit by a Nuke.... -.-'

I fight this Sun s/s nuker for about 2 minutes until i'm killed (at least I stalled him from reaching the TR)

Then I teleport back to Hotan (Laggy now)

Take off Hunter card and am re-teleported back to Hotan (Highly Laggy Now)

Re-pot and teleport to Donwhang to grind...(3x teleport = Unmovable Lag)

Get to west gate, Freeze up, and Disconnect and get the ??? error.

Restart comp again and run to Stone Cave....where I crash upon entering the teleporter.

The End.

That seems to be a problem of youre computer though, Orotiagito.

What I loved about jobbing before the update is that you needed youre union/guild/friends to actually kill somebody if you didnt have sosun. Pvping finally was group orientated. Outside dw east my union was always jobbing.

With the new update, a lot of them are leveling euro chars. God bless them, i leveled one up myself also. But I just miss those huge fights.

I understand what you're saying. However, I think the point in going back to town is to hide your alias. Aliases are supposed to be hidden. If you were able to spot a trader, throw on your suit, and attack, the trader, or other witnesses, would know what your alias is. I'm not sure how else they could protect our aliases. Some people might not care of others know what their alias is though. Maybe Joymax could just lose the teleport requirement and if you want your alias hidden, spot the trader, go hide somewhere, suit up, and come back out. Just make sure no one sees you switch.

Although forcing the thief back to town does encourage thieving in groups, which is the way it probably should be. It's often hard for a mid to low level thief to exit a town without being killed by a hunter if he's solo. Party up with a group of thieves, and you'll have an easier time leaving town.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Srsly, cry more ffs. It seems to me everytime they change something people have to nitpick at it. Guess it can't be helped since bitching is in human nature.
