i just finished dling it through utorrent off the silkroad website and it dl'd as a file only, not a .exe file. im confused, is that how its supposed to be?

U download the uTorrent file from SRO.net.

Then u use the Torrent to Dl the Expansion.... It should be Downloading Auto.. u need to open the uTorrent.

If u have already opened it. Then look at your Taskbar (bottom right) n look for the little Green uTorrent icon. Double click that, and check

Zypher uploaded the Euro client for me... You can get it direct from FileFront on my site. I dont like torrents cause they are slow unless you mess with ports and stuff.

It really would help if someone could post the MD5 checksum of the real client from SRO (IE torrent version). WinMD5 is a great tool - if you don't know what MD5 is, it's like a files fingerprint.

If anyone messes with the original it's near impossible to make the MD5 checksum value the same. We can then post which sites have a valid mirror.

Ok - a friend who downloaded it from Torrent gave me the checksum:

MD5: 929D15F38899A59F4A8E8C0EFE9FB919

Hope this saves you from a keylogger...

Decided to choose the FileFront mirror...
Some people on there are saying there's a keylogger on the file...

But I'm kinda figuring that that's something JM implemented...
Someone else said that in another thread yesterday... that they scanned it, found the "keylogger", then accidentally deleted the client.exe... and wanted it back.

Hmm any updates on this?

I have no clue - I just hope the thing works.

EDIT: I will MD5 this one, then post the checksum here.

Yeah I used torrents tons of times before.. but its just not showing up. My task thing(when I click the button at the bottom) is blank. Just blank =.= I can't DL it T>T and Im not sure if the other links are safe~

Did the MD5 check...

Conclusion: Mirror 1 is also safe
