this is how was my sro career
i took ages to get lvl 25, at lvl 25 found a guild with teamspeak, made some awsome friends, then i started gridning for about 4-6 hours a day, more when it was weekend. Got to lvl 43 in one month...then i got lvl 47 easily and found a new guild...rapage again, got lvl 58 fast...my new friends quit again...i quit too then came back after a month or so got to 62 , quit for some weeks, came back got to 67 and quit my char...
just for you to see how having a good guild and ppl to talk to in ts/vent is important.
Seriously
What's the point in even playing?

If you are new and feeling frustrated by the game, I recommend this:
Think of the bots as part of the reality of the game, just part of life that life is not fair and others will break the rules in all walks of life. As an honest player you will be able to rack up large ammounts of gold and buy nice weapons by using methods locate right here in these forums. Gold is the key to this game, it gets you the same gear the botters get and you actually get to enjoy the game as it was intended, at a normal pace that will make the accomplishment of making high levels feel much stronger. The main sifde effect of bots in this game is the flaming inflation of the prices on gear, which you can overcome by smart trading and money making strategy. Without this your character will be broke and frustrating.
As for the whole subject of SP farming, that can be very boring so don't even do it on your first character. Just choose ONE weapon tree and TWO force trees, and always keep a 7 gap in your masteries. This way you will have plenty of SP untill you get way higher level and at that point you can flat out farm SP if you like. All this may be over your head, but you can learn all of this in these forums just as I did since 2 months ago when I started.
So don't give up, get some gold, and read these forums. You will do fine and have lots of fun!
