So far none of these theories seem to hold..
I tried fighting mobs +9 levels above the person- crappy xp.
So I went up and up, and xp kept going up.. but not at a great rate.
I worked my way from hotan to yetis cutting through the ice, and when I went from penons to yetis, the xp from yetis was lower... even though it had been increasing all this time.
The person was level 13.
Does anyone know exactly how xp is calculated in share xp

this is how it works mate (well I think):
if the mob is closer to his lvl, its his xp split into two.
Closer to yours = your xp split into two
So maybe kill black yeowas and see what the xp is? Usually I would suggest either killing mobs his lvl or urs but given the situation this looks like it could be a good solution.
