I haven't been in-game much lately because I've been BURIED in security reports so I haven't noticed the increased GM activity much. Although I occasionally do stall and I seem to remember "(Notice) this is GM...." posts in the chat window more than usual lately. I'll side with Twysta on this one. I'm optimistic and hope that Joymax really is stepping up. I can only hope for the best. I just wish there was something I could do to help...

Well, so far i was right.

MASSIVE bot ban list of aege and xian have been released so far, and there are also a LOT of high level legits banned.

i (and other legits) finally get what i deserved/have been waiting for. I didnt give up all those times it was hard (believe me, it was) and now its finally going to be a legit sro.. i hope..

Twsyta stfu already stop being so godam hyper. This is the way it was when they announced the "War against Bots" and what happened? They banned a few auctal player bots then went away for 3 months. Calm the ..... down.

he was right about the massive ban. and they didnt just ban a "few" they banned high hundreds on each server.

Ok Mr. Negativity. Another way to look at their "go away for a couple months" thing... Maybe their "war against bots" isn't over. Personally, I think it makes more sense for Joymax to streamline/perfect whatever bot-war process they have behind the scenes (which may be taking a while) before coming out and using it to ban hundreds of bots... instead of doing some work here and there every week to ban a few bots here and there.

Sure, the GMs can sit in the waypoints banning anything that appears to possibly be a bot, but that takes away from time that could be invested in a more automated process. If they get a good, automated process in place, that will help free up the GMs' times for other issues. Granted, they'll have to update/maintain that automated process.

JM wont be so stupid to chop there own legs off. Banning all the bots over and over again loses them massive economic benefits. Feck latest rumour I heard is that they are working 2gether with the owner of bot369.

Ive never lost faith in JM.

They have always been fighting alongside us, against the bots. They do listen to us, even if they dont reply to every report you send them. They do ban bots, even if its not the minute after u report one. They do improve the game, even if it takes a couple of steps to get there.

They have to concentrate on security issues, thats why we dont get so many updates, do you think that kSRO has to deal with all these hackers, botters, CCfers, gold dupers. ECT. If us, the global players would stop doing all those illegal things, creating such headaches for the GMs and JM, maybe we would see more Improvments, more patches, more bots banned.

I think they are taking a step further into re-controling SRO. N making it more enjoyable for us

even if they did change and are actively banning bots and patching up the game, the sheer amount of grinding in SRO is still scaring me from coming back :cry:

I am buying silk again. I can't wait to see the list on RedSea. It has been so tough lately to grind. I've had so many KSing players admit to botting to me, I hope they get nailed.

Now if this is a sign, then perhaps the updates will be coming soon also!!

Yeah I hear you on that. I'm only lvl 44 right now and I believe I was told that you need about 130 million exp to get from lvl 78 - 79! :shock:

Although I guess it should be progressively harder to reach the next level as you level up.

I started like a nOOb player...then started to know about bots...i stayed 100% leGit...i'm 100% with JM

There wrokig hard to make this game cool and fun to play....allot of players stopped becuz of the botters...Its a shame too see this happening but this day has come....Now i'm waiting for tha ban list of Oasis...Happy Day !!! :roll:
