Which would level faster?

if you want to lvl as fast as you can, you do not attack giants unless you zerk on them... speaking out off a pure int spear point off view: since you train at mobs you can one-shoot, i got the impression you can kill mobs fast enough that the xp/sp you get from a giant is less then when you kill separate mobs. when being zerked it changes the whole thing: in zerk you more or less kill the mobs as fast as without, but giants go down in half the time...

when you are fighting giants, you are really into getting drops than getting xp

it actually takes longer to kill enough mobs to get as much exp as a giant would give you, since you'd have to run everywhere to kill the amount of monsters that equal wat a giant would give in exp/sexp

so in short, a giant is like mobbing 100 or so monsters in 1 go, while it would take you extra time to run to the 100 or so mobs individually

Not even a little. When you mob monsters, depending on your weapon and build, you can generally double your DPS while fighting through use of AOE skills. If I do 1k damage with ghost spear, a giant still takes 1k damage, but as soon as I have 5 or more mobs around me I am dealing 1k +800 +600 +400 +200 = 3k damage instead every time I use the skill.

approx 5k exp from a regular nachal

Killing 15 mobs is faster than killing a giant if you have no zerk.
