I stopped buying silk back in September or October; before that I was getting a gold ticket and monkey revival clock every month and using the extra for globals or gender switches. So $20/month that I haven't been spending since.

Huge risk? Id say the risk of being banned for botting is about 0.00001% or less.

If the reason you never bought silk is because of the crappy service and the bots, then yes ^_^

How is not buying silk bannable because it is an optional thing to do. If you could get banned by not paying anything this game would be p2p.

I for one don't bot, and I'm pretty sure if people aren't buying silk anymore until the problem is fixed, then they are legit too.

Buying silk may help them recruit more GM's and DEVs to improve silkroad.

if u decide not to buy silk its not gonna change anything except your gameplay and make you level even slower then bots then you do now, nothing you can do will make them go any faster.

I think you missed the point, I'm not 'not' buying silk to make JM fix the problem (they've had long enough to do that), but just because I don't want to play with all the bots.

Once again I think you missed the point, read the first post in this topic, its not a thread telling people not to buy silk.

A couple mods have posted in the thread, we like it, who's going to get rid of it? Not me, but I will clean up any nonsense in it.

Just like welshkorn said, it has nothing to do with trying to put pressure on JM, but to only pay for what JM's services are worth. For me it is 5$ per month just to keep my monkey alive. Start spanking botters and I will see a reason to pay more.

But people do pay for this game, so they expect a lot more than they are currently getting.
