OMG..Wow...Thanks for this new information.

Because of you i have just spent $500 silk on deleveling all my imbues and nukes.....Sweet i now have 200k sp in the bank and i can still 1 shot a Niya General with my lvl 1 sosun spear ( i use this cos sosun is soooo L337 ^^ ).

Any new Players to the game plz disreguard this entire thread because imbue DOES make a difference......

well of course a maxed imbue is more damage than a lvl1 imbue, but the difference really isn't a big one since most of the damage comes from the 100% and not the +dmg... im still going to use a maxed out imbue as im a blader

But - claiming that the higher lvl imbue doesnt do any more damage at all would be like someone using a lvl1 fire nuke because its the same dmg as a lvl 18 one... :roll:

lol I'm just saying what my imbues do, skills like nukes don't work that way. If you can't kill a white monster with your normal skills using a low lvl imbue then your gear must suck. Nearly all of the dmg comes from your weapon, skills and your gear. Imbue adds some dmg but not much and there's definately hardly any difference. If there was then why can I 1 shot my monsters with a lvl 5 imbue. You can argue all you want but for me it's TRIED and TESTED and it WORKS, so yeah

It's not that the dmg's are more/less, it's that the outcome is the same, which is a 1 shot.

My whole point is that I can 1 shot my monsters with any lvl/type of imbue, I could even do it without any imbue. Maybe it's just an INT thing and STR's can't do it like int's can and need higher imbues cuz they do weak dmg anyway.

I think I've covered everything here, people can try their own experiments and see what suits them best, what works for one person doesn't always work for another, everyone is different. Find out what suits you and use it, you shouldn't ever do just what you read. And nobody will ever convince me otherwise.

And remember I never was talking about PVP.

Why all the personal attacks?, Did i say a word about pvp?, The + Damage from nukes and imbues are added in the very same way.

But seriously, though, my real level is 56. But my thief level is 32, which is what you see in the screenshot.
I usually grind in thief suite because I think it looks awesome, plus the fact that when doing so, I train my thief level and normal level at the same time :sohappy:

It's from Japanese Silkroad Online (jsro). There aren't even any bots for that server.
Oh they joy of being greeted when joining 4-man parties - it's nice for a change! :sohappy:

Also, generally, screenshots just look nice with all the cluttered UI removed. I'll upload some new ones of mine later too. There was a unique spawn even today (yes, on an official Silkroad version - pretty impressive). Screens will be up later. Also recorded the whole thing, actually.

Yep, those boxes indicate that you have actually manually used the skill. If you had used a bot, there would be no yellow boxes at all. Even when a skill had just been used. That's how SRF people used to find and ban botters back in the day.
