omg yes im using an imbue to the fcucktard who said i wasnt using it...

imbue + blade = 300 damage each slash

imbue + sword = 350 damage each slash.

lvl 32 NPC items both on heyongyeon stone monsters as a full STR character.

naked no armor or anything 92% physical 35% magical.

Easiest way to test:

-Remove all armor and accessories
-Buy 1 blade and 1 sword from NPC for your level/degree
-Do not use any buffs whatsoever
-Do not use any weapon skills
-Only your highest imbue may be used

Now, go outside Jangan and whack 5 mangyangs with an imbued normal attack with each weapon (5 whacks with a blade, 5 whacks with a sword), recording the results of each. Do not count crits.

Since sword/blade attack is divided into 2 you would multiply each result by 2.

Average your results for the blade, average your results for the sword. Or you could just post all five tests for each. Eitherway you'd have your answer.

hmm i have a fair bit of int but mainley str, i use ice imbue and blade. i bought a new 38 + 3 and ive seen damage increase a lot! i did pick up a fairly good 38 sword and it wasnt as good as my previous 35 + 3 blade. i ran around for a while with it but wasnt happy, i guess if ur happy with what you got then why change it? maybe im just a nab and should be concern about these things!

Phy balance is i think 98%

Mag balance is i think 54%

that may well be incorrect, it did change when i sold my old blade which carried str 4 100% and int 4 100% (sob i miss that blade, dont miss the 3.2mil it sold for tho)

I agree. It is hard to tell which is truly stronger due to the difference in opponents. Say you are fighting a mob that is str resistant, the blade will obviously do less then the mag based sword.

@creator of the thread: My friend and I can attack one another. He is pure int sword and shield. I am pure str blade and shield. He wears full armor and I wear full garm. W/O imbue I do 2 - 3 times more dmg then he does. With imbue he does 2 - 3 times more then I do. So again, it just depends what you are doing, and then the balances of the weapons vs. the balance of your character.

We dont know about the defense of mob. Maybe sword>blade because mob has same phy def and mag def, and in every weapon, mag power>phy power. But with human player, it works differently. Note that garment give high mag def and armor give high phy def and def reinforce...., so the damage is not self balance depending.
If i have formula for damage, it will be easy to explain.

2) I wasn't the only one who thought that your comment was racist/derogatory so obviously there's something wrong with the way you phrase things. IMO, calling Japs/Chinese/Koreans etc yellow is not that far above calling us chinks however you spell it. *shrugs* maybe it's just me but I feel it's linked to the other meaning of the word yellow when used on us.
