Stalling AFK at night

My only Problem when I afk stall is that, when I wake up in the morning I see........

Nothing has been sold from my stall.

I close peoples stalls down all the time when they are AFK just for fun

just set off a bandit return sroll and just before you teleport enter their stall and it will close their stall down LOL.

Well you can close people's stall, but it will also disconnect them. Useful when you need to get a stall-on-fire-ox off the herbalist ;-)

lol if you'd read the whole thread you'd have the answer to that already. It sounds weird I know but it seems to work, I've never dc'd with the screen showing less activity.

You get dc'd in town mainly cuz there's more activity which is why you don't dc while grinding, so it makes sense by viewing the sky gives you less activity to download and keeps you from dc'ing, tried and tested hundreds of times with no dc's.

That other method with the ctrl-alt-del works as well.

Too much lag in town, that's nice idea to reduce the stalls, hehe. I still think we should have an ingame auction house...you can do all the buying and selling ingame. No need to worry about shady exchanges, stall scammers and what not. You list your price and how long you want it to run for...each player can only list 5 items at a time, to give it a limit. Once item is listed and sold, you get money and item is automatically exchanged to other player. Sound like a plan?

I stall AFK while sleeping all the time and never have a problem. I run in windowed mode and bring up something else over the SRO screen and I have never had a problem.

OMG ppl what is this? Every is talking about preventing D/C at night when stalling. The guy/girls problem is that his stall is gone when he wakes up...

No. That's where the confusion is coming from in this thread. The original poster's issue is that their stall closed overnight, but they did NOT get disconnected from the server. Basically, put up a stall, go to bed, come back, find your stall is closed, but your items have NOT been sold. It has nothing to do with getting disconnected.

The thief-close-stall trick disconnects the staller, it doesn't just close their stall, so that trick has nothing to do with the original poster's problem.

Either there's some other trick that people use, or a cat or something hit the escape key on their keyboard while the player was sleeping.
