I had my inbue on 2nd hotkey also until a few days ago where i moved it to the 4th hotkey.

my imbue is always 2.

Wheres ur Knockdown skill?

Seems wierd you only have stab and not knockdown or is it in the mouse hotkey?

I replace petal sword dance with a KD when I stop grinding and start PVPing. Since I don't KD while grinding. =)

My imbues are 2 and 3. :wink:

1 is the least used skill because it is so far over, which would be the 4 combo attack for me.

Oh and I've been comparing how fast I grind vrs nukers...they really aren't that much better...I'm sure in an hour I could have a comparable amount of gained XP/SP. I don't think most blade users use the ranged skill...it's got almost as much range as a bow...a decent amount of damage...and it recharges fast. Awesome grinding skill that I never see other bladers use.

Mamba, I am building a full int spear atm... lvl 48 tried a few pvps, got owned badly... I keep telling myself that when i hit 70/80 perhaps i can own them back...

But after being in this forum for awhile, i notice these few facts:
1) full STR does highest damage not full INT (zerk on with Crit)
2) with no zerk, full STR does like half the damage our spells does.
3) full STR hits faster

So i really want to know at your lvl, i assume u've tried some pvps... How does a full INT do? totally sucked? or still bearable?

i think mamba has stated that she doesn't do pvp too well, and doesn't like doing jobs. she's a grind machine.

Cerus a full int nuker does not do well AT ALL in solo pvping. You need to go out with a group my friend, and you will form a different opinion. With people tanking for you and protecting you, you should have some fun.

But ya a pure str vrs a nuker 1v1...nuker will probably lose. Against me anyway hahahahaha. A KD crit will almost or will 1-hit most of em my lvl. That's the problem with having like 1200 HP in the high 20's lol.

I see...

I pvp a 48 when i was 45, i was using SOS Spear he was using a +3. He 1 hit me anytime. Then i proceed with PVPing a lvl 41 Pure STR Blader... 4 matches... 2:2 =(

I guess I need to do more group trade runs... have some fun with it and forget abt PvP =(

iron wall (castle shield) is ur friend.

in the 15 secs that it gives, u can kill any str easily.

edit: o and if ur using a spear when ur int, ya...ull lose no matter what, (unless u have maxed ice wall)

try using s/s

I've got max fire and ice imbues cuz to be honest there's no real dmg difference between either of them, when I was 68 I was using the first book of ice imbue and I was still 1 shotting earth ghosts. The big difference in imbue books is the status effect and the time of it and for that ice is far superior. I can't tell you how many times that status effect has saved my ass when mobbed. It's more the gear and skills that makes you 1 shot and I've lost about 20 int when I sold my 7th sos set, I haven't bothered upping much on this garment cuz I'm saving all the tabs to make a perfect blues 72-77 one.

I wouldn't say spear is useless at pvp if you've got decent skills and buffs which I have max everything of, I don't pvp though cux I dunno I just don't get anything out of it. But I stood in DW at 68 in my sos 7th set with that clean 64+4 spear and I can't tell you how many level 70's I wrecked just with a maxed fire nuke 3 and a weak little book 1 ghost spear. I dropped a str blader with an 8k nuke on his head, I didn't go down that easy either. Any level 70 in armour with any buffs I just 1 shotted easily but I had 54 int and max nuke skills. I didn't get any weapon skills yet cuz I don't need them for monsters, I just have the hp passive maxed.

But it's boring especially jobbing, trading takes ages and I can make the same amount of money in 5 minutes selling wind 2 or picking up gold off the floor and hunting and thievings boring too, if you die way out from town what fun is it riding back, jobbing should be made so you can res yourself.

And yeah if your in a crowded room, never click the floor you click the monster and phantom to it.

Just the beginning was edited, everything there was a straight run after the start. You build up a zerk faster with AOE's, if you kill 3 seperate monsters it won't build up as fast as it would if you light nuked 1 and it bounced off and killed another 2, less skills used to kill same amount of monsters and it builds up really quick. Something most ppl prolly don't know. I discovered it when I was at penons farming. I used to get a zerk every 2-3 minutes lol

1. The big difference is an STR doesn't crit everytime for that big dmg whereas an INT gets the dmg everytime.

2. It depends on the player, I do the dmg of an average nuker unzerked than they do zerked, when I was ksing bots I could ks their giants without zerking while they was. As for STR's it's the same it depends on their build, it probably is around half.

3. They hit faster with weapon skills but no faster than INT's do with weapon skills, but a nuke doing 11k dmg in 3 seconds is still faster than an str hitting faster but doing a lot less dmg.

At the end of the day INT's do at least double the dmg whichever way you look at it.

Anyways, when are you going to post that guide on fastlevelling from 1-52 where you farm? I plan on building an int slightly similar to yours by farming enough for me 0gap to 43 skills, then farm at penons at 52 with an sos spear at penons/Hashades.

Im still waiting on that guide lol, to see how you did it

Yeah you cant really compare anything to a Pure int in zerk. Its kinda scary the damage they do. And pure int are not unable to pvp 1 on 1. this game is just all about gear. I have seen videos and i have seen people in game pure int destroying everyone that looked at them. even the npcs.
