I completely trust my guild in EQ2. I've given them extremely large amounts of money to hold at many points. (Far away from guild bank. D=)
And not once have they ever given any stupid\fake excuses for anyone.
I don't know, it just seems that the community in that game are all.. more mature I guess.
But SRO? Hell no.

There's a few guys that I'd trust ingame with my password/account info, but I know 'em well..
Aege (rangahh): Pure int S/S [lvl 4x] Status: RETIRED
Olympus (svante): Pure str Blade [lvl 2x] Guild: SwiftJustice [lvl 2] Status: ACTIVE

Depends on who and how much is at stake. For example, I wouldn't have any problems lending 2M to a guildmate who has been there for a month or so (and who I know well enough.) But on the contrary, I wouldn't give them my password, which is *censored*.
If you're talking about rares like SoS weapons and like 20M or more, then that trust would be reserved for people I've played with for months, or a year(s).
For the account itself however, that has to be someone I know in person..either a family member, a close friend, or (my) girlfriend who I know isn't reckless enough to get hacked.
Try to choose carefully who you trust. Don't give in if you feel you're being pressured to do something.

I found there are people you can trust. I found theres different levels of trust i mean you can trust one person w/ a 1 mil loan or those u can trust to lend them a sos lvl 16 bow for farming and those you can trust with your account info. I've found very trustworthy people, especially one person that ive known since around 2nd week greece opeend.
But im amazed at how good of luck i have finding people that wont try to be ur friend then backstab ya once they have what they want from ya.

I know I can trust everyone in my guild at least. Its hard to trust ppl you havent been in contact with for long... usually u can just tell when a player isnt trustworthy, usually by the way they approach trading items and stuff. If they always insist on you paying first or you giving the item first and are not willing to compromise, they are probably scammers. Also if they are in a rush they probably are trying to pull something.

I have no trouble helping guildies out, as long as I know them, and help them out. The biggest trust someone has put in me. Was probably in my ex-guild, that I had been in for 5 minutes, one of the members asked me to transfer some items for him, and he transfered a 42 sos weapon through me, trusting me (considering I was only lvl 25 and had about 500k at the time).
Biggest trust I've put in someone. Probably lending a guildie 8m, even though I wasn't that keen on what he was using it for (an overpriced sos).
Whether I would trust someone with my account? Idk, but right now I don't see any reason as to why I would need to.

Ooh, I got a sexy ex-staff title!
There's a handful of people I trust in game.
After talking to some people for so long, you just get a feeling for them. Anytime I have the slightest doubt though, I trust my instincts.
I've lent my SOS spear to 3 people now and I've gotten it back each time (assuming Wong returns it when he hits 60 in the next few days
) I've got one person who wants to borrow it before I sell it (but he better level fast cause I like money)

I've never given my account info to anyone. dont see why i'd have to.
instead, different weapons and gear I own for a total value of hundreds of mills are now being used by friends of mine on greece.
but I've known most of these for a longer amount of time, I would never trust anyone after 1 day in this game

Yes forgot there is that kind of trust too. I always get back what I lent them. All of them are friends from 2x-3x.
Also a new friend I got a couple of days ago he lent me his som 16+3 bow over the weekend and he got it back yesterday cause he needs it until the weekend (and I get to use it again xD).I find it rather nice that he trusted me after such a short time.
<3 my friends.
