for the heong (whatever) can we try lookiing at their left hands and consider the bags they carry as their heads,? i mean inside of it? i've always thought that solved the mystery.

NO, the official sites says they got killed by uruchi (hyongcheons), that cut their heads, and now they kill everyone and try to get their heads back.

EDIT :

Hyeongcheon was the excellent warrior of the foreign tribe in the western china, but he was killed by the Ureuchi of the Tang and thrown away to the waste land. He revives as the monster without a head thanks to the witch doctor of the foreign tribe. He attacks the people to find his own head and holds the only head.

Though sometimes ago i remember someone posting a fanart from the official website, and that it could be hyeongcheon because it had same armor (it was a type of warrior with white hair)[/quote]

Heh.. I've looked everywhere in the game to try and see if there was some kind of statue of a heonchyeong with a head. I've even googled up stuff like "headless monster" (i'm desperate to know

And I thnk in the quest descrition regardign the Hyeoncheons is that you are trying to recover other people's heads that were taken by the Hyeoncheons in order to give them a decent burial
