Group of 8 lvl 80 Euros :
= Dead Euros
Take out the damage dealers, then cleric then the str based chars. It's so easy...I've seen it happen on Mars already. :o
-edit- Well we weren't lvl 80 but you get the point.

i was theifing with myself (rogue) another rogue and 2 mages back when i was 4X
we ran into a group of Chinese traders going through DR 3 camels and 3 hunters. The wizards cast that frost AoE attacks and we (rogues) pwnd the sh* t out of them. Not saying it'll happen every time Euros meet Chinese but a well balanced euro party> than a well balanced Chinese party. Once everyone is buffed you'll see that Chinese aren't really a threat
The one thing I believe people are failing to notice is that Wizard's will be an even bigger deciding factor for a Euro party at 76+. They get an AoE de-buff that slows manna regeneration and inflicts 4 second pot delay for 30 seconds (I believe someone pls correct me if I'm wrong.) GG Chinese group.

Yes but it doesn't mean victory in group play. punch wrote:what if you were the trader and a bunch of glaivers came up to you? one ghost spear = 1 dead wizard instantly.
Most definitely the case in solo PvP, no argument there. Group PvP is another matter. Euros have the advantage at current cap with infliction of pot delay, and the host of buffs solely available as a euro.
If the group is adequate and smart they can easily keep
40-60%damage reduction on their wizards with warrior buffs alone and even then split the remaining damage evenly across the party with pain quota. That should be considered standard procedure for group play anyway, and I haven't even factored in Bless/Body Blessings, Earth Barrier, Tambours...so on. In tight situations a competent and adequate group can shield and sustain app.
85-95% of all damage inflicted on their Wizards as well as raising their defenses
x3/x4 for 1.5- 4 minutes depending on party structure/classes.
I don't speak ignorantly on that subject as Ive experienced my fair share of high level jobbing with strictly Euro parties. Our Rogues, Locks, and even some Warriors were generally easier to take down than our Wizards because we focused buff attention to them first. I've forcibly tanked a few STR glaive characters, STR bow characters 4+ levels over me and lived without even a moment of "oh shit!." It's all about your party, your communication, and practice.
