At lvl 40, every piece of equipment I owned had at least 2-3 int and 1-2 str. Alchemy didn't even exist in those days; you just paid a little bit more money, and it really paid off. I'm sure such equipment is still available in the stalls if people are willing to put in a little bit of time searching for it.
