this got me pissed off cause i see all the non US player bottin with full bot pts. while all the americans i know are newbs and stuff. i hate how arabs and turks are favored while they are the ones ruining the game....

No, You get six i did it with one of my old acounts yesterday got a Pet clock, Devil extension 7 days exp ticket 7 days sp ticket reverse return and something else forgot what it was

Dumb. I only use two PC's anyway so don't really care, but yeah that'll limit any chance of having an SRO LAN party.

What I am curious about is if a b*t uses a multiclient and logs 3 or more chars on, does it allow it? If so - LAME. If not, GREAT.

Putting an IP address limit on the game seems stupid, whether is's just for the US or all countries. I'm sure there are plenty of people who play from the same network. What about a bunch of people in a college dorm room? A family that likes to play SRO together?

I was under the impression they had things pretty well under control (at least better than a year or two ago) with hackshield and the statue things.

I think they need some form of patrolling statue. That way, there is no "safe" path for bots to travel en route to their grind (read: bot) spot. But it would be easy for human players to navigate around the bot killers.

But then a bot will appear to avoid these mobs while grinding. Just like the old system where you could spawn them and hope the bot attacked it.

i dont think theres a way to 100% prevent bots, but there are ways to slow them down. but i think putting the statue on some type of walkscript is a good idea. it wont stop all of them but it would defiantly slow down some of the less advanced ones

are they tradeable ? or atleast some of them ? i guess they are but i want to make sure .

Its true, but only in North American countries .. USA, Canada and Mexico..

People are still able to open up to 10 Clients per account in the rest of the World..

There's an option though for people to buy IP addresses and it's going in game for about 250m a month per IP address on Iris (as far as I know)..

Some companies are even taking it hardcore and selling their IPs for a monthly fees of about 5 Euros a month!

As long as the account is actively being used and won't go inactive while you're just storing them and that your chars aren't leveling up or such.. I think you should be fine.. I have about 5 alts for storage myself..

I wish that was my problem, the problem I'm facing when both my brother and I want to log on is that it wouldn't let us through wireless lan.. says the IP address is already in use and wouldn't let us both log in from different computers..

Any ideas to work this prob out?
