For me the char name is highly important, and is an aspect of online games that i put too much thinking of, which i really shouldn't. For me 1-2 words names are the ones to go without numbers, underscores or extra chars, sometimes added some initial letters like my forum name.

I have kept on a list several times various names that i've thought, that's what i generally do before creating a char; i make a list then pick the one i like the most if it's not already taken. I also like to think on guildnames too.

Some names i've come up with (most of taken from random things):

-FoxShot
-Aerov
-Lancer
-Luminant
-Luciforms (song that i don't really like, but love the band)
-Seltzer
-Rubik

[PR0METHEUS]

I often go with names from Greek Mythology, or characters from movies. I used to use Prometheus as the name of a computer on an old network I used to be on. Some people think it came from something on Stargate, but I got it from the name of a prototype ship on Star Trek Voyager.

So when I started SRO on Venice, I just used that. Prometheus was taken, so I ended up with PR0METHEUS (with a zero). The character I used it on happened to be a pure STR blader with fire. It fits nicely because Prometheus is also the name of a Greek Titan who stole fire from the gods to give to the humans. So I guess PR0METHEUS brings fire to the players of Venice.
