Lol it actualy can. Wemade made bots legal in some of their games, and believe me, they wont change anything. they bought it for profit only, and they are not gonna reduce their profit right after they brought it

im quite surprised..i've never heard of Wemade before...only games they have is legend of mir2/3...which look crappy. Either joymax is actually making sro2 or wemade had a lot of money to buy this game..
SM-Count wrote:Heh heh, they got integrated bots in their games.
would fit to the game, as long as they take care of the stallnet, euro/chinese balance goldbots and clients pro pc content-quests-sp/exp rates
that is to say: everything joymax is neglecting then it noone would care if they set up their own incorporated bot for the game. it would actually be an easy way to make money
I don't care what new features they add to the game, or what fixes they put in place for things Joymax neglected. I still would NOT want them to integrate bots into the game.
Bots (gold and player) and gold BUYERS are what destroyed iSRO.
Missing the good times in SRO...
SRO: 1x, STR Blader (Thebes) 54, STR blader (Venice) 0x, INT wizard (Venice) 19, INT spear (Venice) 34, STR rogue/bard (Venus) 0x, STR blader (Venus) 8x, INT bard/cleric (Gaia)
Google'd Wemade, never heard of it. Lol they have made lots of money with their previous MMO o.o I actually have high hopes of this, Wemade is an Korean company and seeing Ksro doing so well, i hope they gonna change Silkroads current state. They also seem to own a pro gamer team, well in that case, they should know gamers hate bots.

You do know JM controls ksro... Yes the same JM that wont ban a single bot in isro, but welcomes them..
I just hope they move the servers to a different location then the pos they are using now. Because ever since these last few updates i've noticed a major amount of lag spikes.
Just 2 days back, Wemade signed an agreement to buy over Joymax CEO's and 3 other important board members' shares, which is around 25.8%
That ain't gonna change anything. JM vont let them decrease the profit even if they would want to do anything against bots.
financial capitalism, look it up
edit: it means that company's always have to follow what the owners want. though, the main vision is that every owner wants to maximize profits, because Fischer-separation theorema. look it up too i think it has a 50/50 chance

omg this!!
and for the idiots complaining about the actual game ITSELF... go kick yourself in the nuts... there is nothing wrong with this game... its just the people that fck it up... the koreans are conformists with the profits that this game is making NOW with the bots... if an american company took over, the bots would be banned because they would look for ways to make more MONEY! this way the bots would be banned, and like every other f2p MMO that has an item mall... these games are about who is the best player... which you WOULD have to buy silk... therefore more players=more silk being bought= waaaay more profits for american owned joymax...
So if they do take control of Silkroad.. I saw this.
With this, Wemade hopes to increase its development power (Wemade is a developer + publisher themselves) and make a bigger impact on the MMO market.
I guess they're ganna update silkroad at this point. Joymax pretty much has the game set til 120 so they wouldn't have to do much.
Makes sense here.. If they give them SRO then they'll have more time to work on SRO2. If SRO2 isn't just a rumor.. I'm actually looking forward to this. Yeah yeah.. Joymax blah blah, but they were good when Silkroad was new with few servers. So I wonder.
If being a loser means not playing Silkroad all day.. lulwut?

Well in the article it said "JM continues to make Sro2". Also JM is not a separate company from Wemade. WeMade bought JM shares so they control JoyMax. Pretty much like car companies, Toyota owns Lexus, Honda owns Acura, etc.

Can you look it up for me. I'd love to read how a minority shareholder can force a company to change how it operates as long as the owner runs the firm with as much concern for its interest as the minority shareholders.
So as far as we can tell, wemade has only 25.8% voting power as to how SRO is run.

its the theory of intertemporal consumption and rational investments. up higher in the thread, it says that 25.8 % is equal to the highest amount of shares that one entity has, making Wemade the shareleader. offcourse, if 1 million shares are sold, 1 share is not going to make the difference, but we are talking about 25.8% of all the shares of Joymax, which represents a HUGE amount of money. money = power
Not to forget, that (at least in Belgium, I think it's the same in other countries), for key decissions there must be a vote with at least a 3/4 majority, which means someone with more than 25% of the shares can block every decision
