My cousin. I remember that day like it was yesterday. So one day I was surfing the internets, searching for good pr0n when my cousin said that to me on Skype: "Hey, you know what? I'm playing this nice MMORPG called Silkroad Online- it has good graphics and everything". So yeah, I decided to try it, even though I'm not a big fan of MMORPGs. I liked it the second I tried it and I spent some months playing it.
well some time back in 06-08(i dont remember when), i heard about mmo's (yeah i was an internet newb then) so i decided to try 1 out(was inspired by .hack//legend of the twilight, anime). when i googled it this(silkroadonline.net) happened to be the 1st result i clicked on, the site was cool and the screen shots looked nice so i decided to download, i got hooked. when it came time for my college studies and study pressure really started to mount(RedSea was near inaccesible at the time) i left.
When i decided to come back the traffic had gotten worse but i found this place

oh about 3 almost 4 years ago now i was just browsing the inet for a game to play cause i was bored and i came across silkroad so i downloaded it tried it and then didnt play it again for like 3 weeks of which started my addiction, so i told my gf and my brother and got them both playing and long story somewhat short here i am..
Wayy back in 2005 I was playing Adventure Quest, when a friend showed SRO to me. I tried it, loved it instantaneously, and surpassed his week obtained level 14 in one night. Then I got around level 65 (back in 70 cap) and stopped for a long long time. Eventually quit not too long ago (Late September) because it was just to boring, playing a game thats never going to go anywhere but down.
First time i was quiting school and went to an internet cafee with 3 friends , they played silkroad , i played lineage 2 at that time , and they sad , dude go home and download silkroad , how much it has ? 300 Mb . Are u serious ? 300 Mb that is shit i'm not going to play a small game like that , dude gest try it , and i did and from then on i regret every day of my life .

i used to play halo pc and hello kitty island adventures then my friend came to me and said dude play sro its sch a good game we have a strong union and blahblahhh
Used 2 play some ghey web browser game called Outwar alot of people left saying this game is gonna be sick blah blah... and also my friend in rl back then was playing SRO.
Man...that was like what? 4 years ago i was back then just arrived in the US and my friend was playing runescape and i didnt even know what is was(had never had a pc b4) then after playing it for a while i quit at lvl 8 i think since it was just stupid.
After that i made the worst decision of MY LIFE !! I found about sro dont remenber how then i start playing it then got my cousin that played rs to play with me and we both WASTED 3 YEARs of our life playing this damn game then we realize how it was ruining ours life then we quiited it.
BUT GUESS WHAT ! We couldn't keep ourselves from playing it we quitted and went back literaly about 20-30x then he finally quit for real after he heard some strange voice behind him one night when he logged out saying (whioe then game was logging out) DONT GO DONT GO PLAY SOME MORE.then he like jumped back like 5ft to his bed and was super scared then he never played it again after he told me that i did the same but went back thing called ecsro which was even worst i not even gonna mention all of it cause its just too much so sumin it all up we started hacking accounts together with DB7 (u prolly heard about them b4) then same old story ruimed our life socially and mentally and specially in school so that time we quit for good.

4 years ago I asked my roomate/best bud to search the internet for any new MMOs. He found SRO and started playing it and I watched him for a bit...I thought back then it was such an awesome game. The skills, the weapons, and the gears hooked me.
Surprisingly my friend only played it for a month before he got disgusted with it. I shouldav followed his lead. Instead I blindly wallowed and rolled like a dog in the putrid stench that the game really is b4 coming to my senses.
It was as if I was driving a Lamborghini covered in human feces and fooling myself that I was happy. The Lamborghini = SRO...the human excrement = Joymax.

He first introduced it to me while I was still into Puzzle Pirates (lol) I slowly migrated to SRO, my brother quit after a few days and I've been playing since Feb 2006~

Well, I guess I'm not one of those. I don't really plan on getting capped anytime soon, I've made countless new characters just so I can play with some friends and it's a lot of fun. I'm sure its more fun than grinding at lvl 99 getting 0.01% exp per every 10 mobs. ^^
teh uniquq gameplay and the urge to level up and add new skills that was fun untill i noticed there was a max mastery lvl that my account sucked becouse hybrid blader with sum bower and heuksal skills and then i started to look for good builds and then i started over now i stil like the game but the bots and joymax are so annoying
