I couldn't agree more. Any actions NB and Fly (or anyone else for that matter) did on other servers shouldn't have ANY impact on what happened in Venus, especially if those actions in Xian/Persia/Eldorado stopped before Venus started. People can reroll legit as long as they cut all ties with their old bot characters, never to return to them. I think what they did on Venus was a GOOD thing. I guess they can't please everyone.

As for mentioning 3rd party programs by name, I'm glad to see that being disallowed. The names of those apps have no place here.

If there truly is a legit in it, I doubt they played for any longer than a few weeks.

I'm a truley legit non-silk-buying player on iSRO. I played on Venice for about 2 years or more getting my blader to lvl 54 before moving to Venus. I created an xbow rogue/bard in Venus, joined Avalon, and took maybe 8 months or so to get to lvl 35 or so before basically quitting altogether. Now I occasionally log on my Venice blader to play around.

I didn't just quit after a few weeks.

Sometimes the best people to learn from are the people who have been there themselves, but have since cleaned their act. I have no problem with anyone who used to bot, but don't anymore... as long as I don't later find out they're telling lies and really are still botting. It's the botters who continue to do it without shame that I have a problem with.
