If people want to hide their characters from ss so what... maybe they just want to remain anonymous.

Thats my point. Its not about being anonymous. This game is built around show and tell and wanting to be admired and respected by your peers and all that garbage. So you can toss that anonymous crap out the window. The odds are too low for that. They don't want to be identified in a YouTube video for dry humping some obstacle in the game while trying to get to a mob on the other side of it. Thats the reason.

You have to also remember sometimes people blur out parts of the screen shot to hide the chat box convo and to also respect others privacy.

It is the best they can do. We have a point here. It just is not like this in any other game period and we all know why. They can't defend the people who do this so they attack the people that point it out. Kill the messenger so to speak. But the message still remains. The United States Bill of Rights has no enforcement whatsoever over an online video game. Unless the game violates the immediate rights of the American citizen.

You play within the game and everyone is allowed to see your name. If amendment 4 & 5 had any legal authority over MMORPGs then it would be demanded by law of the United States for games to have an option to hide your name in-game.
