So u don't believe that SRF should disallow rev6 talk? well I understand ur viewpoint and I don't mean to stir shit but I think its a valid point and should be taken into consideration by SRF Staff, because the least mention of Rev6 will mean less potential users. And to be honest, I never heard of Rev6 until I saw it on SRF, and now I know about the Agbot, what if I was a legit and decided to bot? see what I mean? it will happen and this could be a step in a least-bot community in SRO and SRF?

would u still wanna talk to cin even though cin has these really cool tools on cin's site, but the site has no direct link. Cin though is still contributing to the bots but there is NO LINK ON THE HOMEPAGE BUT CIN STILL MADE IT, still wanna be friends with Cin? (THIS IS A SCENARIO, NO TRUE)

so using your logic:
Cin owns bot, because bot is bad, then you hate Cin.

Your trying to stop people from talking about a site, and yet you make this topic that brings all the attention to it. When was the last time there was a topic that had rev6 in the title here? "Ok everyone! from now on were NOT going to mention a certain site, *wink wink*"

^^ lol i thought about the irony of this thread lol ^^^^^ but this seems the only way to face the problem, and I see rev6 metioned in about 1/10 topics in GD. But since SRF is against bots and we ban anyone who bots, but we are fine with the creators. It likes we banned BF for botting, and lets say BF has a site, www.BFX.com, we banned BF but everyone talks about BF's site, dont u think a mod or admin would clean that post?

and it's not even like they're really promoting a bot, either. They don't have links plastered over their main page, you aren't allowed to talk about it on their forum.. so what's the big deal? srsly.

Thankyou. If you all didnt know, rev6 forum is anti-bot. We might not be as gun-ho as srf but we dont allow talk of it on our forums.

Well I know a lot of people are going to be pissed at me for putting this on here.
But as you all know of Rev6, player search and server lookup and update information, but we as well know that they have a bot named "AgBot" and no I'm not a botter but I'm not stupid. I think Rev6 should be considered a botting site and any mention of it should be a warning and so on. Because the more people talk about Rev6 the more people from SRF will go there, they'll find the bot, maybe then bot, then they'll maybe, just maybe, donate to them, then feeding the bots in SRO, so why do we continue to allow Rev6 to flourish in our forums when they have a bot made, that a lot of people use. Can we disallow talk of Rev6? Of course I'm open to opposing debates on this so go ahead and fire ^_^

All you have done is brought more attention to rev6 and their forums. And all you are doing is assuming that when people visit the site, they are immediately introduced to the bot. If someone WANTS to bot, they will, so all your post and thread has done is bring attention to MORE people, that rev6 offers a free bot. But again, just because someone mentions something doesn't automatically mean that they will go and do it. Just an few example:

1) The mention of "War On Bots".. All you are doing is promoting the bot as I see it. Because people that don't know about bots or ever used one, is going to try it and to see what all the fuss about it is.

I have a problem with this statement because you are just assuming that everyone is a dumbass, and that when they hear about something they will go try it.

It's a VERY easy site to come by and is easily found out in game. Censoring it on SRF is mediocre at best..

hmmmm lets remove a site that is mostly used by legits to see when they can log on in an effort to stop bots who really don't have to look at all since they can just bypass the measure in place...yeah.....thats a good way to encourage people to not to bot...by making it harder for them to be legit...yeah....i think you got something here....

By your reasoning, let me have a little fun with this:
You know about Rev6, you know that they have a bot, so you must use that bot?

And I was also one of those people that did not know that Rev6 had Agbot till I read a thread on SRF saying that Rev6 had Agbot. I applaud the exposers to expose to the unknowers where to get a bot.

Another thing, why would they donate to Rev6 when using their bot if they could use that money on a "better" bot?
