I'm thinking of making a new character. I'm curious to the preferences people have as of late. I've been noticing threads saying Bows suck now, and everyone is changing to Glavies. I'd just like to see a straight-up, overall preference.

Feel free to post your reasons if you like, but I'm just interested in the poll outcome.

I know there have been a gazillion and one threads about weapon choice, but I haven't seen a simple poll about it. That, and things change minute by minute around here

get a crit11 bow, +5 it or even better get sos/som/sosun and you will OWN i tell you

real power of archer u will feel at lv 60s it's true that bow suks at pvp/pvm before..

I like glavie, and I feel qualified in posting an opinion since I've had a blader at 56 (Was my previous main; got the skill potions from Item Mall and switched to Glavier.), an archer at 53 (My brother's account; he has been in NY for a week working and I've been grinding on it for him.), and a glavier at 7x [My main (Previously the blader.).].

Grinding Speed: Archer, you don't need to run to the mob as you do with bladers and glaviers; you can just peck of Penons before they get to you.

Damage: Glavier, hit stuff with a big stick; pretty fun.

Tank: Blader, Block, Block, Block.

Fun: Blader, you get to knock people over, block high level people's attacks, and the chains just look awesome.

I switched to glavie from blade because grinding just got too slow. I had to dual chain Yetis at 56 while when I switched to Glavie it was Flying Dragon, Soul Spear Truth, Ghost Spear only.
