dude is call take a brake, u dont have to grid all 3hours stright, lol i woudnt main haveing 100% for 5hours, 1hour 500% if your slow killing mobs u srewed, mybe for a pure int is the best but am sure for a pure str glaive or blade aint. and lol joymax woudnt bother giving you more then 3hours and more then 100%.....so good luck with that!

honestly, who grinds for 5hours straight?
you'd have to be a roBOT in order to do that

you know you dont have to grind all of the exp time in a row right>? you can grind for 2 hours, pvp, mabey take a break. take a nap, come back 6hours later and finish the other 3hours.

Consumerwise, it's the best option.

Joymaxwise, it wouldn't be an option. Basically the longer you take to reach the cap, means the more money you would spend on buying silk. If 1h = 5h, then everyone would be fully using the 1h, however if it's 5h, not many people might be able to finish the 5h, hence you take longer to reach cap.

Nice idea, but for sure it won't be implemented.

maybe my math is old, maybe i forgot it but take this into consideration:

- without any prem/ticket let's say you make 500k xp / hour
- with prem+ you make 1mil xp/hour X 5 = 5mil xp
- with this new premium you are talking about you make 500% for 1 hour => 2.5mil xp
So if you want to reach your prem+ daily xp you would have to grind that 500% hour + another 5 hours without any bonus.

Sorry about the double post but some players are thinking that grinding for 1 hour can be more wasteful of a prem ticket than grinding for 5 hours. If you think about it there isn't any difference in loss for grinding a 1 hour vs a 5 hour prem if your grinding patterns are the same.

Your either loosing big but gaining big or loosing less but gaining less which is like saying half dozen bananas vs 6 bananas. It works out to be the same. Most people just think that because you only have 1 hour, if you are not grinding fast they are loosing valuable prem time. The same thing can be said for a 5 hour prem+. They just don't think about it because they see the 5hrs and think Its a lot of time and more time equates to more exp gain. Which isn't true in this case.

Another thing to notice with this new prem is to ask yourself if it is easier to focus for 1 hour rather than 5. Having only 1 hour encourages you to become more focused especially when the gain rate is 500%.

Thx for that correction... ... 2.5mill exp it would be...not 5mill... if the normal is 500k/h then with a 500% prem the total after an hour has passed would be 2.5mill....

So with a regular prem thats at 100%...a player would get 2x500k per hour which = 1mill per hour for 5 hours which = 5 mill exp.

I see what you guys mean now ..sorry my bad....seems its not a good idea after all. Unless this new prem was 1000% (ie 10X) for the single hour.

I think the best solution is somewhere in the middle. I remember my old days lvl-ing up with gold ticket, those 3 hours were intense grinding, joining a 8-man party till i reach the spot so my minutes wont get wasted, good old times .

5h in my opinion is too much, premium+ should be 3h or 300% instead of 5h-200%; don't get carried away in doing any math - the difference is not that important.

Bottom line, 3h instead of 5 wont drain the fun from the game.
Dont get excited, things wont change, joymax is still a $ hungry corporation and wont change anything untill the servers are less populated => lower profit.

So true....There were times when I bought a monthly 3hr/day prem and found myself having 6hrs of prem time on some days because I couldn't play and had to miss a day or so. I can't imagine if it was a 5hr/day prem and ending up with a 10hrs prem time. Whether joymax realizes it or not these kinda things incites botting.....

If I remember correctly, there is a time limit to how long you can earn experience in the Ksro version of silkroad, and its only 3 hours I think. So they are restricted to 3 hours, and they give us a 5 hour ticket, and unlimited experience gain thru the day. If someone could only grind for 5 hours a day, it would keep the bots from constantly grinding cuz there would be no reason to keep going.

In GW after 3 hours and every hour after that you get a notice: "You have been playing for XX hours please take a break" lol
