Did you ever think not everyone is lucky to afford suns? Not accusing you of buying gold or anything, but not everyone is as lucky. I personally have only gotten 1 lvl 16 sos sword in over 3.5 years. All the gold i have i've saved. I just think it's unfair to have a low lvl town have high taxes. Like a newbie could afford that. This game is pretty much killing itself with every update. Now it's just the same old players powerlvling new characters for their friends.

I got 2 sox drops, and I play from Oasis begining, lvl 16 sos spear and sun 76 ring. Im not lucky in drops or anything, I just earn my money from shaitan. Evryone can do that, make rogue or wizard and go fo it.
In this game is so easy to earn gold, to easy.
About newbie in town with taxes, he will stay there not more than one day. I dont see a big problem with that.

And why would a newbie stay in jangan for only one day? Unless you are just assuming they would quit, which i would have to agree with you.

Or he will quit or he will lvl up to 20 very fast.

unless he already has friends or knows what he's doing, i doubt he'll leave jangan quickly. I know i personally had no freaking clue that i could go to other cities and set my res point there when i first started. And i didn't get 20 for a few weeks. Finding my way around jangan was annoying as hell. I think the game as it is right now, is probably the most unappealing for a newbie.

What JKMB says would be great if them implemented it. A reason for the fortress winner to balance the taxes to get gold and appease the ppl. Now it's just tax as high as they can cuz no one can stop them.
