Well... I know that hybrids deal higher damage ... Didnt I hear somewhere on this forums... that game is that perfectly made, that any balance , full int, or full str, or even 70:70 (any balance), with a critical hit - considering they have same weapon / gear - will hit the same amount.

I feel like I cannot kill anything with STR bow at cap...
I cant imagine 90 Fire, 90 Light, 90 Pacheon, 30 Ice killing anything, especially blader...
I cannot go without 90 Pacheon, nor 90 Fire ... I want Light and speed soooo badly ... (Thinking of cutting it to 80 - but then 40 Ice means nothing) ...

So I'm thinking of hybridizing ...

Hybrids only works well when all your skills are maxed. As i've said, you cut down 1 part of the source of your power in exchange of useless low lvl skill 10 more lightning or 10 more ice mastery.

when i first started off isro way before bots began to mess the game big time... 1 dude offered a great fast leveling advice for a full str glaive ... he said it's plain easy to level, just take 1st level of grass walk (and 1st level of phantom, if you can afford it), all sp to glaive skills (picking just 2-3), and leave fire imbue/mastery abt 10levels behind glaive. it made a lot of sense to me ... then all folks around me were bandit farming and sp farming freaks ... and i also went into it. wondered what it would have been like had i just stuck to that dude's advise ... perhaps i'd be capped and just farming sp now

which is why i picked light imbue for my bower, love having the chance off stunning 2 ppl at the time when thiefing.
and the difference in damage is hardly noticeable.
tested on my old char with a level 68 fire imbue and level 24 light or so, there was hardly any difference in damage so i figured teh difference in damage between a maxed fire and a maxed light would not be to big either

I can support the hyb str archer biuld - i managed to obtain a 90-80 balance with perfect gear,gdf and premium+
In my opinion it's one of the best builds (if not the best) for uniqes, pvp is great if you know to pvp as an archer, jobw, etc.

A small problem appears at 100 cap when you need to lower light for some cold masteries(mana shield) and after that .... who knows
