But we are of course looking at this from a political science perspective, do you not understand that? We, the people, must accept the law created by authority, Joymax, with a majority in order for it to be considered legitimate. In a democratic system (which we are not under), morals may govern laws; when morals change in the public, the legitimacy of a law may change. On the other hand, we are under a dictatorship run by Joymax. Our morals never have a say in the laws we are governed by, thus we may question the legitimacy of such laws. When a majority of us feel a law is morally wrong, it is simply "illegitimate", not "legitimately wrong". The latter questions the legitimacy of our own decision.

This may be a word game to you, but it is the basic principle behind the answer to this topic. Legitimacy is variable while law is absolute. To say that powerleveling is legitimate simply because it is permitted by the law is wrong. Powerleveling is legitimate because a majority of us who are governed by that law have accepted it to be so. If everyone changed their minds one day, powerleveling would become illegitimate even though the law is still the same.

You may be looking it through a political science perspective, but we are not.

To say power-leveling is legitimate because of law is extremely valid and right. Through the definitions of legitimate, one of the first definitions to be LEGITIMATE is to be ACCORDING TO LAW.

We continually to play word games. If you really want to dispute this topic any longer, I advise you to take this to a chat room of some sort. I am willing, as I am argumentative.

I suppose it's pointless to beat at it any more however, because neither of us will convince the other and we have both brought out our arguments. No matter which way you look at it though, the conclusion is that powerleveling at this point in time is both legal and legitimate.

Cruor, lol. I all ready agreed with you in political science (If that's what you're talking about). But you continue to say it's wrong to say it's legitimate through dictionary definition and to say PS is the only way or it's the highway. Thus, word play.

Go back to page eight, last post. "Okay, sure in political science."
