Came back to say this was a terrible game... lol The company doesn't even have the competence it takes to label the beta correctly. The game is like 6-8 years outdated and it hasn't even been released yet, get ready for the money grab if you stick around. Oh yeah, heya guys!

You know how smooth silkroad combat is.

The quests and tutorial are better than the original, but yeah.
Optimization would arrive eventually, the UI can change but I think the combat system is here to stay.
Having to re-target your enemy everytime your character isn't looking at them made me log off, backpedaling is a pain in the ass in this game.

More like open beta since everyone can join.

Also I lol'd at the Rome trade caravan escort tutorial quest. The thing only had to travel 10 metres and you didn't have to kill a single mob, in Persia it was a bit more than that. I also robbed a caravan, but I didn't seem to get anything.

I just tried it on a friend's account since my email verification isn't working. I submitted a ticket and am now waiting for a response. He had to do the same thing.

After playing it for a bit I have to say its not really appealing...It reminds me of games that were made long before the original SRO was created...Game play isn't smooth at all...I hope this is because its in close beta....Cool looking weapons and gear though...They have a nice glowing effect....

The game itself along with the main website resembles a money grab private server operation....It has the look and feel of something low grade and amature...I'm thinking someone or some group that probably loved the old SRO (or recognize it's impact at least) had the means to build a game and attempted to revive the title....

This isn't Silkroad, this is an entirely different game based on the same story arc. I've uninstalled the game after being completely disappointed. Can't believe I woke up early for it

The fact that it's a beta means nothing - It's just not game that we were all expecting. If you enjoy it, good for you, but it's certainly not Silkroad Online 2.

Yeah, though this game is in beta, it's still disappointing since when a game gets to this point, it's usually not going to get drastically changed and it does need some big changes imo.

Dude this games pretty awesome.

I love the look and feel of the UI. I'd like to be able to move stuff around, but I can live.

Combat is awesome, the skill tree system is pretty cool. I could see myself playing this on the side.
