When i finished my farming in stronghold (before euro) i wanted to say something about what i accomplished but i knew people wouldn't just take

ditto that. i farmed for only a month or so on gold tic and sp tic after getting hacked on my original account. only 45k but was just enough to get to 60. took a week and a half off and then came back and 0 gapped for a month on sp and premium. as soon as i get around mid 50s i get none other than PureOwnage (as hes known on this site) telling me he had a vid of me botting. i told him id like to c it, and he said hed put it up. well its been 2 weeks and so far he hasn't posted that vid yet with his only excuse for not posting it was being in game at the time. and every1 with half a brain from xian knows that his account Memphist was botted. total hypocrite if you ask me. and thats the other thing about sro right now. NOONE BELIEVES THAT A LEGIT CAN GET TO <INSERT LVL> IN THE TIME IT TAKES A BOT TO. every1 ive talked to says they beleive its possible but no1 will belive you if you say you did it. well i am legit and i got to 60 with less than 2 months of actual playing days (i do not count my week and a half of vacation), so take that and shove it up your hypocritical asses.

getting 2 60 in 2 months, on your ticket time is 100% possible

because ranting about bots is exactly what people on srf need instead of making 10000000 different topics about it.

MANY people on srf bot and are active members of the community, of course you wouldnt know it because they are afraid of the bann hammer which is silly. as far as im concerned, everyone is a suspect, and as far as im concerned, i DONT CARE! if you bot, its your choice. IF you bot, you KNOW what your doing, and you KNOW what can happen, you took that risk, you decided to bot, you will reap the reward and the punishment. botters know this, botters live by this.

The only bots i REALLY hate, are the spam bots and gold bots because they waste server space, and are lifeless pieces of shit. At least a player bot is going to pvp/ job, and i know a LOT of botters, but they are nice people with real lifes who like to relax on sro, and to bot is their choice, and theirs alone.

I wouldn't call this much of an discussion. Everybody just throws their opinion in the thread, most without any rhyme or reason to them, and then they gtfo or stay to flame.

We can be big kids and discuss an issue without being brats about it.

Ppl seem to have lumped the word legit in with the word bot for some reason. Like it HAS to become a flame war. It does not. When someone is uncomfortable proclaiming their legit accomplishment, there is a real community issue to solve!

its because if they mention they are legit, or show a vid with any1 that has sun; then, claim the full sun person is legit.

a bunch of hypocrits will come into the thread, and flame said person 2 hell out of sheer jealousy, or because it is "impossible" 2 get <insert lvl> without breaking a rule. or because its "impossible" to get full sun without breaking a rule.

First off I shared accounts interested to see what different builds were like.

Next off, if you can't get to level 64 in under 2 months, no good. You can get to level 64 in 3 months with NO GT, with only 3-4 hours a day. Its possible.

Secondly, who are you to accuse what my life style is and isn't. Seriously have problems making such assumptions.

I was never fat, never will be. If your addiction to Silkroad affected your life that drastically, that's your problem. Don't write insults just because you couldn't control your addiction. Not everyone experienced Silkroad the way you did.

Majority of us do in fact maintain stable lives while playing Silkroad.

Why in all of 7 pages is this the only response worth reading and noting...its on topic its thought out and its short....

I had to read through 7 pages of 12 year olds arguing to come to a post that actually made me understand wtf this stupid thread was about and now that i do i can see where some ppl are coming from. But this view isn't the whoel picture

When someone post a thread saying that after 1year and 7 months they finally hit 80 its a great thing. I've yet to see a thread like that end with basement dwelling or bot accusations. I think threads like that show the GD SRF community at its best. The problem occurs where someone says they're 80 cap fully farmed in 3 months and claim to have never botted....somethings not right there.

So i think the problem is that to many ppl are making up stories of they're "handgrinding" success and the few ppl who actually hand grind to 80 get over shadowed by the former. If there were more legits on SRF than we'd have better thread quality but theres WAY to many pretenders.

Love this topic, about time someone had the balls (metaphorically) to start it.

Whenever a topic or post is made mentioning someone who botted, its automatically locked to prevent flames.

Certain people with storages full of sun and billions of gold on every server can even call themselves legit...and people believe it and support them...

I agree with locking sometimes...like when someone posts a screenshot of a high + weapon with 2 or more astrals on it and the next post willl be "CCF".

Other then that, I feel that the botters should be put in their place, and not have topics about them locked to prevent their feelings hurt.

btw - PureEntity Union on Greece is a place where you can feel good to be legit. Rules aganist botting, ccf, goldbuying, scamming, etc are still strongly enforced.

Since when did everyone become psychic and accurately tell how someone manages their time to level up?

I don't care about being legit? lol...mate I have pretty much hand grinded since day 1 of Euro release til now and I'm only level 50. If someone accuses me of botting then that's pretty sad considering how slow I'm leveling with a bot. I care about myself being a legit but I don't care if someone else cheats, it's THEIR money they want to waste so big deal?

Anyways the point is this game ain't gonna last forever, you will eventually quit and move on. Who cares if someone bots. It's not you. Play the game how you want and deal with it; you have the choice to bot. I don't support botting, but I don't care if people do anyway.
