Well, you could use the "Comment" option for answering them, it will add text behind your name (like Juey's Youtube-Link)... but for a real conversation that might be too slow ;D ... or join the "Chat", but I think others have to join it first as well ... not sure, never used such features on Ventrilo ... So either be content with listening to ppl or get a mic ... I think there should be okay ones even at 10-15$ (no Idea about US prices anyways)...

Lol...the old Compaq monitors have the mic built in so that just might work.

In comment, write "come to chat" or something and open a chat window. There will be a "C" by your name indicating you are in chat. You'll still be able to hear their comments and you can respond by typing. Had a nice conversation with Silvero and Zypher the other day.

Soon as my damn clients pay their bills, I'll be buying a mic, lol. Until then, expect to see "still no mic" as my comment.

Don't be shy. People in the forums know you from your posts and vice-versa. Some people know each other IRL but only a few. There's plenty of people that'd like to talk with you, I'm sure. Don't sweat it. And the one thing that you can absolutely guarantee: someone will say something stupider than you. Hopefully I'll have a mic soon so I can prove this point. :oops:

But again, SRF Vent rules since some of you are too dumb to pay attention:

1.) No racism or sexism, it might be funny to you but it's offensive.

2.) Do not not not come into vent complaining about someone, PLEASE. If you have an issue, take it to pms or something, listening to a ventrilo argument is stupid. :roll:

3.) if you're listening to music, keep your hand off of PST. <_<

4.) Don't be a jackass. If you're harassing someone or being disgusting or not using common sense, please don't complain when you get kicked, globally muted, or banned (if it's that bad).

5.) While you're free to talk about what you want, don't start bot accusations, don't talk about hacking someone or threaten to do so..

Just behave yourselves.
