To upload an image, go to imageshack and upload one directly. When uploaded, pick the last link, copy it and put it in between [img]tags.%20%20(like:%20[img]*link%20to%20image*[/img].

Go to http://imageshack.us/
Browse your computer till you find your pic and hit "Host It".
There are several options after your pic is uploaded. You can just copy the one with IMG tags or get the direct link at the bottom and place it between tags like this:

There is an Img button on the post editor to help you in that regard, just push it, and past your link between them.
