Hello, I have been playing silkroad for around 2 years during that time I have made alot of friends and had a fun time so in turn I suported joymax by buying silk. I have never bought gold or botted I have always been legit so I ask this is silkroad ever going to be fixed? botting is so bad right now the servers are full 24/7 and so to fix this I bought more silk to get a ticket so I can sign in at any time yet the server is so full ive been non stop logging in for over 2 days an I cant get in to even use my ticket. I love silkroad the game is fun the pvp is awsome and its just to put it simple an awsome game so please respond to me by telling me that joymax is atleast TRYING to make the servers better for legit players otherwise im afraid I need to find a new game and joymax will loose my buisness.

We know and it IS terrible. You dont really have to worry about your char name, it doesnt work like that. My IGN is nightbloom and has been for years.

Id like to say they are trying, but its hard to tell. We are all frustrated by the situation and coping in our own ways. Just try a few times and if you cant get in, go play CSS or AOE. (That's what we do anyways) JM does read the forums, we know that. Whether it makes a difference or not, that is an entirely different matter.

They can't fix it now. They didn't stem the problem earlier, so now they're hands are tied. They ban the bots, they get mass chargeback. There goes their deal with PayPal, their credit history and their income. Then there goes the game.

So really, they could probably try, but they just can't. They're now up shit creek without a paddle.

Actually they will start fixing things pretty soon...why?
2 words : P**ate S***ers. If one apperas, there will be alot of people(especially legits) moving to it...soon they will multiply and JM wll start loosing money.Now one option is to try to shut down the private servers, which will be kinda impossible, since hell, not even blizzard can do it for wow, let alone some koreans. The other is of course to try making play experience better for the players.For them, this prolly means adding new item mall stuff which people can buy, which might result in a overall declining business...i sure hope those azzez have something in mind to prevent this from happening.

Honestly.. there were some good changes lined up, but as of now, Joymax is significantly understaffed and therefore doing a not-so-good job of admitting that they aren't capable of taking care of what needs to be done. It might get better, but the likelihood isn't very good for the next year. It is a pain, and I loved Greece but it's a dead server. It's only fun if you're fully sun equipped and in KUWAIT. Good luck though.. CaF > KUWAIT.

Not really sure if this will help or not.
However there are some rather well played servers like Venus that are mostly legit players that you could play on.
The log in time is pretty good on that server and you can get a lot of great friends on that server as well...

Simple Start loads of new servers, without bots, let the old ones die a slow painful death.

Highest % of legits afaik
Lots of good parties
Lower Traffic than most

Cons:
Completely controlled by 1 (or 2) unions that aren't allowed to kill each other.
Dead PvP
Dead Jobbing
Still bots, just a lot less.

My summary:
If you like to grind, Venus, if you like to PvP, not venus.
