Rogue...

Hey people.

I started playing this game recently. I was wondering if a rogue with only dagger (no crossbow) would be effective, I understand that it will not match up to the hybrid's caliber, but I want to know if it is still fun/ strong. I know that for a character to be "fun" a personal opinion, but those are appreciated a lot I also have 2x hyb.Pacheon, to fund it... is there an amount of gold I should have to fund it?

It would be pretty easy to get dagger and crossbow. Just don't get a sub class. :O

rouge daggers are great, just make sure you don't take a subclass. Also, parties are very important! [rogue dagger will lvl quickly in a party]. I won't try to sway you to take Xbow ~ you want daggers, so daggers you shall take

Heh alright thanks people. I guess i don't want to get crossbow because its too much of a hassle, but it'll be the same as a force right? So I'll try the crossbow xD

EDIT. and i was just thinking, sometimes, I can't max some of my pacheon skills/ fire skills/ whatever. And i dont really want to SP farm... so wouldnt just Daggers get me like every skill easily?

yup, if you just stick with dagger specific skill and general rogue skills, u should be able to lvl with a 0gap or at least a 1 gap.

I'm currently playing a level 55 rogue as my main right now, in my opinion Xbow is faster at grinding ,but daggers do hit harder, so if you really wanna make a pure dagger char maybe sub in bard and the speed buff will make up for the lack of range. But i have to say it's really nice to be able to change to an xbow to take out any Ints or people trying to escape while Jobbing.Anyway good luck im sure you will find the rogue class fun if nothing else.

Ok this is what i do with my level 79 Rogue.

Use:

Crossbow ~ Leveling: you kill from a distance means faster leveling, i also use crossbow when a noob is trying to play smart a$$ and use ice wall so i kill him from a distance.

Daggers ~ Jobbing and pvping becuase you do more dmg with these but my daggers own they are 72+5 with 98% phy and crit 6x% aswell.
