Auto-drop when dying

Hey peeps,

Sometimes when I die, my caracter just drops something automatically.
Last time I dropped my lvl 18 SOM +3 Cleric Rod with a +3 str bonus. And that made me think: DAMN! (sorry, shouldn't been shouting or cursing here)
Anybody having the same problems?
Oh, and it's not with a PvsP battle. It's also when fighting against tigers, chakji and even against cerberus.

Could really use some help,

It's normal, try not to die a lot

And you won't drop weapon if it's in the hand.

I had it to, with just some pots, but its oke to curse when u loose a som +3

You cannot drop an equipped weapon, so the weapon must have been in your inventory. When you die, other than caping, there is a chance you will drop something other thatn ur equipped weapon.

Also, a lvl 18 SOM weapon doesnt even exist...

Ya right.. nice story u lost 18 lvl som rod? WTF there is only 16 lvl

18+3 som cleric rod, you meant 16+3 ? I didnt know its possible to drop sos/som/sun items while dieing with/with out murder status. Anyway, if you die in pve its possible to lose any item from your inventory (except silk items).

Yes u drop items without murder status while dieing form mobs. Usually higher lvl mobs...

If you have a rabbit, put valuables in it, so it doesnt drop.

You cant drop something u're wearing/using
